President Trump (http://thehill.com/person/trump) capped off Friday with a round of nominations for key administration posts, including naming his picks to be ambassador to India and Germany.
Trump tapped Fox News contributor and former United Nations spokesman Richard Grenell to be his ambassador to Germany, a country that he scolded before for not meeting NATO's target for defense spending.
The president also elevated a senior official on the National Economic Council, Kenneth Juster, to serve as his ambassador to India. Juster had been rumored for months to be Trump's pick for the diplomatic job, and the choice had been endorsed by the Indian government.

Trump on Friday selected a pair of GOP lawmakers for key posts: Rep. James Bridenstine (R-Okla.) as his pick to be the administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.) as his nominee to lead the Office of National Drug Control Policy.

The list of nominations – some 42 in all – seek to fill key positions throughout the Trump administration, including in the departments of Justice, Agriculture and Defense, as well as in executive agencies, like the Office of Personnel Management and the General Services Administration.
Trump also tapped nominees for ambassadorships to posts in Djibouti, Angola, Zambia, Croatia, Estonia, Switzerland, Mauritius, Seychelles and Niger.
