It seems unlikely but I think there might actually be 2 different people.
If you notice, they never show his shorts/feet at all when he is facing the camera, even while he is running to "help". At 52seconds in, the guy in shorts appears (With back to camera). that guy is not running but you can hear on the feed that the cnn guy is still running but is presumably not in the shot. Of course the guy in the grey shorts never appears on camera again so it is tough to tell.
