We just got home, so I'll be brief.
I got to meet Tancredo and Huckabee and got a peek inot their respective campaign meeting rooms, literature, etc. Afterward, I waited across the street from the HyVee parking lot to watch the RON PAUL GRASSROOTS MACHINE arrive, staring 2 hours before they were scheduled to arrive.
RP, Mrs RP, Kent Snyder and Lew Moore arrived early and gave us some words of encouragement, and off we went to various venues throughout the city.
Josh, Meg, Jody, Roman and my wife and I met the night before to work the baseball game crowd. We went to grab a bite afterward and got to discuss many things and get to know each other better. It was great.
Saturday was Historic. What can I say? The speech was long and covered material that no other candidate for POTUS has ever covered before. It just came pouring out of the man who has been waiting his entire carreer for the venue to properly address these issues with average Americans from all walks of life (it's true...black, asian, white, young, old, male, female, veterans, anti-war youths, political noobs, politicians, christians, Jews, Democrats, Libertarians, Republicans, Independents, etc., etc.).
I've never seen anything like it. I've never been so tired in a good way. I've never been so psyched about an election for POTUS.
Josh is way too cool. Thanks for building my 7-sign-tier MEGA SIGN, my friend, and for your excellent work all week for the cause. That's what I'M talkin' 'bout:D :cool:
