President Donald Trump (http://thehill.com/people/donald-trump) early Friday morning blasted lawmakers for failing to pass the Senate GOP's "skinny" ObamaCare repeal bill, doubling down on past comments that that he will let "ObamaCare implode."

"3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down. As I said from the beginning, let ObamaCare implode, then deal. Watch!" Trump tweeted just before 2:30 a.m. Friday

McCain kills GOP's 'skinny' ObamaCare repeal planSen. John McCain (http://thehill.com/people/john-mccain) (R-Ariz.) killed the last-resort Senate Republican healthcare bill in a surprise vote early Friday morning, voting against a pared-down proposal that GOP leaders released only hours earlier.
Voting shortly after midnight, McCain – who returned to the Senate on Tuesday after undergoing emergency surgery related to brain cancer – joined GOP Sens. Susan Collins (http://thehill.com/people/susan-collins) (Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (http://thehill.com/people/lisa-murkowski) (Alaska) in opposing the measure that would have repealed key parts of ObamaCare.
McCain cast the "no" vote two days after a dramatic return to the Senate floor during which he called on his colleagues to work together on major issues such as healthcare reform, which has long been a Senate tradition until the upsurge of partisanship in recent years.

Not clear on why Rand voted for this. Wasn't a huge complaint of his was that people could buy "insurance" after they got sick? Skinny Repeal would not have fixed that, would it have?
