Powerful stuff coming from a mainstream media journalist. It's a documentary by Stossel in which he studies how Governments go wrong and how only free markets can truly free the world from poverty.

Enjoy! I know I did!

stossel was one of the first to really enlighten me to libertarian thinking. he was also a speaker at the 2006 liberty forum in nh.

Stossel is the man.

I've seen him debunk all of these myths

-gun control leads to lower crime
-ethanol is a great alternative fuel
-government social programs work better than charity
-foreign aid works (500 billion dollars to africa since 60's, no effect)

the list goes on and on. Go look this stuff up, this man is a great journalist. He doesn't really ever state his opinion which is impressive, he just references to literature works, peer reviewed papers, and different studies that have taken place over the years.

He also consistently mentions that he was completely wrong on many of these subjects before doing research.

Yeah, I especially love how hard he tried to play devil's advocate in all the interviews he does, especially in his interviews with Ron Paul the past couple days...
