John McCain's recovery could take longer than initially expected, medical experts told The New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/16/health/john-mccain-blood-clot-recovery.html?_r=0) on Sunday, two days after the Arizona senator underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from his left eye.
McCain's office suggested in a statement (http://www.businessinsider.com/mccains-surgery-complicates-senate-gop-obamacare-repeal-vote-2017-7) last week that the senator would be out for a week following the surgery. But two neurosurgeons said the typical recovery time for such a procedure is "a few weeks" or more.
That's bad news for Senate Republicans, who are delaying a vote on their healthcare bill until McCain returns to Washington. Two Republican senators, Susan Collins of Maine and Rand Paul of Kentucky, have already said they will not vote to proceed on the measure, meaning that without McCain, Republicans won't reach the 50-vote threshold they need.

You mean the one that goes something like "At least his medical recoveries work the same as his economic recoveries"?
