If you look at Trump's budget (https://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/whitehouse.gov/files/omb/budget/fy2018/budget.pdf) (see Table S-6), it doesn't cut one cent from the State Dept. (where foreign aid lives).

He's keeping foreign aid so people can see the atrocities the countries we give it to commit. It will expose the deep state. This isn't even 3D chess this is normal chess. How can you fools not see this?

I like the map that shows where we give it too. Is the money he's sending to Mexico so they can pay for our wall?

Congress will write the eventual budget anyways. Trump can only say what he would like to see in it (though you get to see what his priorities are).

Proposed budget would deeply cut State Department and its programs

The State Department leadership voiced support for President Trump's proposed budget, which would impose deep cuts on spending for diplomacy and foreign aid, but critics vowed to fight to restore the funds in Congress.

In a statement, the department said the president's $37.6-billion request for it and for the U.S. Agency for International Development would support "a leaner, more efficient government" in line with Trump's "America first" mantra.

If approved by Congress, that would represent a reduction of roughly 30% from the current fiscal year.

He's hoping that Paul Ryan will vote for the budget so that then he can expose him and then remove him.

I don't see it in the actual budget document.

The section I mentioned lists funding changes by department. The State Dept. isn't mentioned at all.

Pretty sure USAID isn't mentioned either under independent agencies.

Still reading it but there is a summary paragraph on page #12.

In addition, this Budget request focuses on making the Department of State and USAID leaner, more efficient, and more effective, and streamlines international affairs agencies more broadly through the elimination of Federal funding to several smaller agencies. The Budget will allow the Department of State and USAID to support their core missions, while ensuring the best
use of American taxpayer dollars in ways that advance national security as we work to build a more prosperous and peaceful world.

Leaner usually means smaller- budget cuts.

Funding- see page #42: Table S–8. 2018 Discretionary Overview by Major Agency

State and Other International Programs:
2017 estimate: $39.7 billion
2018 Request: $28.2 billion -$11.5 billion -29.1%

Not holding my breath either. As I mentioned earlier, Congress will write the actual budget- not Trump. Recent budgets have all been "more of the same".
