U.S. coalition airstrikes hit (http://www.kurdistan24.net/en/news/0645677d-69ac-4c2e-a869-1e3d355ffc3a) 50 Islamic State oil refinements and tankers in two Syrian cities on Tuesday, according to a press release from Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR).
OIR’s assault on ISIS’ few remaining oil assets in Syria began on Monday, just as the Iraqi government announced its victory (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-crisis-iraq-mosul-idUSKBN19V105) over the terrorist organization within its borders.

In Syria, this week’s strikes “destroyed 19 [IS] oil refinement stills, four weapon caches, four wellheads, three separator tanks, and a storage tank” near Abu Kamal, the report continued. “Six strikes engaged an [IS] tactical unit and destroyed 25 [IS] refinement stills, five oil tanks, and 10 oil tankers” near Deir ez-Zor.

Oh... so NOW they start to target ISIS oil production. Figures. Gotta look good at the finish line.
Used to be just Syrian infrastructure... bridges, factories, electrical plants, water plants, bakeries, grain silos....

When I used to put together Fire Plans in the old days these are exactly the types ( energy , ammo , food , fuel etc ) of targets we would set up first with TOT ( time on target ) about a day before moving on the position.
