Of the last three Presidents (Bush, Obama, Trump), whose conduct in office has been most dignified in your view?

The media is the one that's mental if they think that it's better to start a war in Iraq or participate in the overthrow governments in Ukraine and Libya than it is to tweet and talk smack.

To be fair, Presidents who start wars based on lies that kill/maim/displace millions or drone little defenseless children to appease their PSOs are technically acting above the dignity of the office. That's presidential stuff.
Talking smack and hitting back at media talking heads is way below the dignity of that dignified office and cannot be accepted.

the best potus we have had in the last 65 yrs is eisenhower , 2nd best was bush sr . what do they have in common is being in the military .

i have different thoughts about carter , bush jr had the worst people advising him , people like cheney-perle-rumsfeld-rowe-wolfowitz-libby-bolton .

it would be great to have a potus that loved his country more than his party .

Obama was the best spoken of the three, but I don't think of Bush as undignified. Both he and Obama were occasionally awkward.

Ronald Reagan was the best President of the last 65 years followed by nobody. I would vote for Bill Clinton before I would vote for Bush Sr. or Ike.

Oh, please. What kind of hyperpartisan crap is this? Dubya danced and dodged shoes and butchered the English language and accused the queen of being 230 years old. And Trump is even worse.

Obama is far and away the most dignified of the bunch. Of course, Michelle Obama more than made up for it by being the biggest brat to wear the title 'First Lady' since Eleanor Roosevelt. As a package deal, the Obamas are a wash. Any woman who will have Air Force One buzz and terrorize Manhattan so her relatives can take snapshots of the island and use them as 'bling' is beyond the pale. I suppose Reagan conducted himself in a sufficiently dignified manner when he wasn't talking about fighter satellites with lasers using eighties technology with a straight face, or looking like a deer in the headlights when confronted about Iran-Contra, but it's still hard to think 'dignity' about a senile guy with a turkey waddle down to his necktie and all that brown shoe polish in his hair. And H.W. wasn't so bad when he wasn't puking in the Japanese prime minister's lap. But Obama himself was considerably less embarrassing than any Republican president since Ike.

Here's a history lesson on "give em hell, harry" s truman

If you think Trump’s tweets are ‘unprecedented,’ you don't know about Harry Truman

Yeah, taking selfies at the funeral of Nelson Mandela was very dignified.

Far from it. Just demonstrates how low Dubya and that orange guy set the bar.

Obama is far and away the most dignified of the bunch. ...

Not so sure about that.
Probably the best mannered/best speech control/best acting skills/best public relationing skills of the bunch though. The other two are no giants either but he was the biggest puppet of his handlers of the three and puppets by definition lack dignity.

One of the things I appreciate about both Bush41 and Bush43 is that they have interests outside of politics, and they pursue them. The Obamas understand nothing beyond lavis living, and it appears the Clintons are the same. The Carters have outside interests, and so did the Reagans.

The people who eat, drink, and sleep politics are rather shallow and one dimensional. Boring, in short.

LOL

Mika and Joe have changed their diction suddeny since these tweets and have not been using terms like "mentally ill" and Trump in same sentence anymore.
Hopefully they have not been traumatized.
