U.S. Torture, A Saudi Coup And ISIS Crimes - "By, With And Through Allies"

MUKALLA, Yemen (AP) — Hundreds of men swept up in the hunt for al-Qaida militants have disappeared into a secret network of prisons in southern Yemen where abuse is routine and torture extreme — including the “grill,” in which the victim is tied to a spit like a roast and spun in a circle of fire, an Associated Press investigation has found.

Senior American defense officials acknowledged Wednesday that U.S. forces have been involved in interrogations of detainees in Yemen but denied any participation in or knowledge of human rights abuses.
...
At one main detention complex at Riyan airport in the southern city of Mukalla, former inmates described being crammed into shipping containers smeared with feces and blindfolded for weeks on end. They said they were beaten, trussed up on the “grill,” and sexually assaulted. According to a member of the Hadramawt Elite, a Yemeni security force set up by the UAE, American forces were at times only yards away.

There have long been rumors in Yemen that detainees were transported to U.S. ships off the coast for intense "interrogations":

@BaFana3 - 3:42am · 6 May 2016
All on #Yemen now : US aircraft carrier, 2 naval destroyers, amphibious ready group & Marine expeditionary unit. That's near 15,000 troops
Now I know whose ships the captured AQAP militants are being ferried to from Al Mukalla, Hadhramaut.

AP now:

A Yemeni officer who said he was deployed for a time on a ship off the coast said he saw at least two detainees brought to the vessel for questioning. The detainees were taken below deck, where he was told American “polygraph experts” and “psychological experts” conducted interrogations.
...
Two senior Yemen officials, one in Hadi’s Interior Ministry and another in the 1st Military District, based in Hadramawt province where Mukalla is located, also said Americans were conducting interrogations at sea, as did a former senior security official in Hadramawt.
...
Former detainees and one Yemen official provided the AP with the names of five suspects held at black sites who were interrogated by Americans.

The UAE had been part of the CIA's "black sites" torture apparatus. Its agents are thereby well trained. The U.S. military and/or the CIA now seem to have outsourced (vid) most of the "dirty" stuff to them. That does not make them less culpable.

U.S. Tied to Torture in Network of Secret Yemen Prisons Run by UAE: (https://www.democracynow.org/2017/6/22/us_tied_to_torture_in_network)

U.S. officials interrogated prisoners at United Arab Emirates-linked secret prisons in Yemen where extreme torture is routine, says Human Rights Watch's Kristine Beckerle. According to the AP there are at least 18 secret sites in Yemen and up to 2000 prisoners that have disappeared.

People, including children, have been:

arbitrarily detained
forcibly disappeared
tortured
abused

in these prisons, according to Human Rights Watch. American forces reportedly participated in interrogations of detainees who were abused, a potential violation of international law.*

The*UAE*is a member of the Saudi-led coalition, and it’s the U.S.'s main counterterror partner in Yemen. What the AP reports is that not only is the U.S. aware of these allegations of abuse, but the U.S. itself is sending in interrogators into these prisons and involved in interrogations of Yemeni detainees—the exact same places where we and the AP are reporting that former detainees, family members, government officials have been telling us that there's rampant abuse. And so, the big question that you then have is, OK, so now the U.S. is on the hook potentially legally for selling arms to Saudi Arabia, and you now have the U.S. potentially complicit or involved in detainee abuse with the*UAE*in Yemen.

Former detainees who were held in these places told us about torture including:

being crammed into shipping containers smeared with feces and blindfolded for weeks on end

being beaten

being trussed up on the "grill": The "grill" is where people are strapped to a turning rod —a spit, and they are put over and they are rolled over a fire like a rotisserie chicken

being sexually assaulted

electric shocks

caning

forced nudity

sleep deprivation

threats

threats against family members

According to a member of the Hadramawt Elite, a Yemeni security force set up by the*UAE, American forces were at times only yards away.

The ban on torture is one of the most fundamental prohibitions in international law. And that includes not only directly engaging in torture, but also being complicit in torture or using intelligence gleaned from torture.*

[...]

Right after Trump became president in January he sent US special operations forces into Yemen. And it was reported the*UAE*was a part of that operation. The raid itself raised serious questions that the U.S. had violated the laws of war, because you had a very high civilian death toll, including nine kids who were killed in that raid. And again, these (the UAE) are the very same partners that the U.S. is doing joint operations with against*AQAP, working with closely against*AQAP, and now reportedly involved in the very same detention campaign where we’ve documented disappearances, torture, abuse over the course of a year.

So... MSM suddenly 'breaks' a truth telling indictment... investigation/witnesses.. all laid out.
Why now?
The Yemen atrocities have been ongoing for 2 years.... barely a 'peep' from Western media.

Rothschild protege Macron 'suddenly' comes out with this:
Macron: "With me, there will be an end to the kind of neoconservatism imported into France over the last 10 years."

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DC7ohpzXsAAYm5a.jpg:large

Something's going on.
Suddenly decades of unchallenged/lockstep US interventionism
is getting a black eye from mainstreet media.

Suddenly Congress is wanting their 'Warpowers' back.
Why? This is happening RIGHT when the Pentagon has 'their man' in the White House.

This is not a 'crisis of conscience'...
Something is 'up'.

The one thing in 'common' in this 'shift' suggests (to me)
that this sudden MSM maligning of the 'Empire' means it is about to FALL (anyway).
Flip the financial levers and it's done.
They're greasing the skids, getting World consciousness 'ready' with this kind of stuff.
When was the last time you 'cheered' for an MSM investigation?
When was the last time you 'cheered' for Congress?
When was the last time you 'cheered' for a French NWO lapdog?

Russia launched a flurry of cruise missiles into Syria Friday,
targeting Islamic State fighters with a strike that also demonstrates Moscow’s ability
to use its muscle to advance the interests of a Syrian government hostile to U.S.-backed militias.

Isn't the US bombing the $#@! out of Yemen, or just the Saudis are doing that?

'We' are hands on in all but 'flying' the planes... against the Houthis/Yemen 'regime' government.
Planning, maintenance, logistics, SIGINT, Geo-Spatial, and also HUMINT (aka captures/rendition and apparently secret prisons/torture & interrogations onboard US ships)

There's also an 'Al Qaeda' presence in rural Yemen that the US engages directly (member the Seals/SpecOp disaster recently?)
