Has anyone else noticed that the big news turds are going nuts on gun related stories? They wont shut up. Why would CNN and Fox cover a story of an old woman walking into Disneyland with a little pistol in her purse? Who cares?

It's a black-op, all over the media you are seeing a coordinated effort to demonize guns: Just take a look at this: Man opens fire in Omaha mall, killing 8 before committing suicide

That happened on the 5th of this month. Bush was in Omaha that day for a press conference and left an hour before the shooting. The shooter was on anti-depressants, while living with a friend's family next to an air force base.

The good news is that most Democrats are scared to death to touch the gun issue. Every time they do they get annihilated at the polls.

I think massive liberalization of concealed carry laws that have swept the country in the last 15 years that have coincided with a dramatic decrease in violent crime has made gun control less popular with most people.

If the Supreme court rules against the DC gun ban it could be a long time before we see a serious push for gun control laws again. We can hope anyway.
