View Full Version : $500 and a Money bomb at Midnight 16th

I'm going to give $500 on the 16th. If 20,000 of the people that pledged to give at least $100 on the 16th give $500, that is ten million dollars. Plus people that will donate that haven't pledged, are over the 20,000 mark. I think we have a real chance to pull this off.

This is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to pull this off. If this happens, Ron Paul will be elected. If it doesn't, Ron Paul may not be elected.

I'm not going to throw away that once in a lifetime opportunity, and guarantee the last destruction of our civil rights, with warrant-less wiretaps, torture of prisoners, and complete bankruptcy of the country. I can't afford this from a monetary sense, I'm just a student, but I can't afford this from a life perspective - this has been the only opportunity in twenty years to do this - Lets do this:

Lets make it effective too. I'm going to donate my money at midnight. Lets have a Minnie bomb at midnight to turn it over to 12 million right at the start of it. BOOM.

as long as we are damn careful not to donate BEFORE midnight (we need it ALL to count as happening on the 16th), i'm in.

If the rest of you patriots have prepared a donation like the one I have saved up than we are going to have a heck of a day :D

I am getting a sense just from the buzz that there will be large numbers of people who will do what ever is necessary to GO ALL IN! "Going all in" ,for those new to these boards, means hitting the $2300 maximum allowable annual contribution as regulated by the FEC.

Should a "I'm going all in" thread be started ?

I think a lot of the people on these boards who were able to go all-in have by this point. But maybe we'll get the fresh blood to go all-in on the 16th.

I haven't given the max, but I can't afford it. Maybe I should try to ebay something ;)

Don't think the max is much of a problem, there is always another family member that can give something :)

Regardless, I know if only 20,000 people signed up for $100 give $500 like me, we go over the top :):)

I would have to sell my comp to go all in (it's my only semi-valuable possession lol), but I am going to donate as much as I possibly can, at 1AM EST (I'm in CST...wanna make sure I'm counted for all intents and purposes).

I think this money bomb is going to be much bigger than expected, due to people having saved up for this one.

I have $700 that I've been sitting on for a while now. It's all going towards my FREEDOM.

And to be quite honest, if Christmas weren't just around the corner, I would go ALL IN.
I'm not even sure how much I can still send to the campaign legally. I'm sure it's not much more than $1000.

I think some people have been saving up money since Nov. 6 to donate this weekend.

I believe the amount of money raised will be astronomical.

No can do the $500.

I pledged to myself and others to give more than double my 11/5 pledge, which was a symbolic $115.07

And give $250.

Since then I also gave on 11/11 Veterans Day and 11/29 the last debate night as a show of solidarity.

So technically I've given way more than I responsibly should budget wise, but I'm still committed to giving a full $250 and maybe $300 if I think I can eek it out...but I know 500 is out of my realm right now.
