I'll throw in $100 if ya'll do, too. Only need 500 people at $100 each.

It's expensive, but there's one thing that makes it worth it - they're going to display the LIVE DONATION COUNTER on TEA PARTY DAY.

I believe many folks in the NYC crew will be there to talk to people in times square and pass out literature until their party starts at 9pm.

Believe it or not $50 is a bit spendy for me. I can go for $25, but I'm kinda tapped out right now. So I had to vote no.

I'm saving up for my actual donation now...

I think this is a good idea though, especially with the live donation counter. I voted no but I could go in for $25.

You want to blow $50,000 for an ad on Times Square, of which there are thousands, on a Sunday? Do you have any idea how many news reporters live in Times Square? zero (well basically). Times Square is for tourists, and that $50,000 would be much better spent donated to the campaign, getting people to the early primary states to canvas, basically anything. How about supporting this blimp with your $50K so that it can stay in New Hampshire until Jan. 8?

Neat idea but cost-prohibitive and not a good value. And you'll get no press out of this - where's the story? The bilmp is a story (an odd one). ANOTHER sign in Times Square is not a story anyone would cover.

It could possibly act as a footnote to the main story of the fundraising and the blimp. There's the potential for some press out of it...hard to say how much until it actually happens though.

I think we'd be better served by just saving up for New Year's Eve. There will be guaranteed huge amounts of people who see it.

I don't want to vote yes and not be able to pull through, so I didn't vote. However, it's possible I could donate.

This is a bad idea. Waste of money. I like the idea of renting a half hour of prime time informercial space. Much more effective!!!!!!!!

Like i said... w/ the money bomb on the 16th along w/ the tea party & the blimp, this would certainly tie it all together. The Media would have to give us attention!

That why I am in for $500.00

I say let's give if a shot. If we can't raise the money by tomorrow night we can always put it towards some other ad project.

Thats the beauty of this ... Its an idea, that came from normal people supporting a cause to take back our country. If it was any other campaign it wouldnt be effective.... This will be one more example of the Ron Paul Grassroots at work!! Dont you see... we have IDEAS... People are thirsting for a Change all across the country. Regardless what it is we do.. be it the blimp or money bomb... the fact is we are doing something.

Advertising needs repeatition to work. I'm not sure that a one day billboard will work well.

I like this idea given that I am from the city. This will definitely get a lot of exposure. There are many domestic tourists this time of year in the city.

we need NYC meet up (1,000 members) to be there and also support this effort

I said no because I haven't maxed out yet and would rather be giving the money to the campaign.

Cant we have the blimp fly over? that 50,000 can keep the blimp up for a while longer....

My money is tied up for the 16th. I would consider donating for new years but the tea party at times square is a little premature in my opinion, at least for the cost.

I put down my $50. This is a great idea and it's not terribly expensive.

I think New Year's eve would be the best. Ron Paul's name on the living room TV everytime the TV Cameras sweep the audience at Time Square; thats not to mention the 1,000,000+ people in Times Square that actually see the Reuters Screens.

I think $50,000 would be better spent elsewhere.

we should do New Years Eve, if we start now we might be able to make it, the blimp got $100K in one night.
