Not clear if it is political courtesy that media has refrained so far from asking President Trump and Sean Spicer if Trump was tapping phones of "sick, bad Obama (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?502216-Erection-2008-Video-Surfaces-Of-Obama-Flaunting-His-Junk-to-Reporters-on-Campaign-Plane&p=6451014&viewfull=1#post6451014)" Hillary Clinton, Pelosi, Schumer etc. There is some chatter that media owners may ask their eployees to tone down criticisms of President Trump as he gets ready to start first foreign trip including visits to close allies Saudi Arabia, Israel in next few days. Not clear if a mini trip to Palestine will be part of this historic tour.
Another big news of this week is:
Global ransomware attack: 5 things to know
By Laura Smith-Spark, CNN
Sat May 13, 2017
The ransomware, called WannaCrypt or WannaCry (http://money.cnn.com/video/technology/2017/05/13/ransomware-wannacry-attack-explained.cnnmoney/index.html), locks down all the files on an infected computer and asks the computer's administrator to pay to regain control of them. The exploit was leaked last month as part of a trove of US National Security Agency spy tools (http://money.cnn.com/2017/04/14/technology/windows-exploits-shadow-brokers/index.html?iid=EL).
The malware is spread by taking advantage of a Windows vulnerability that Microsoft released a security patch for in March. But computers and networks that didn't update their systems remained at risk.

Since US taxpayers have already paid for various tools developed for defending our freedoms, should US leverage these investments by sharing such tools with our closest allies like Saudi Arabia and Israel to further enhance cooperation?
Saudi Arabia is also heading the UN Human Rights commission and Israel is probably the only non-racist democracy in mideast. Trump will also be visiting the Pope but unlikely that Vatican would have any use for such freedom defense tools.

The latest came this week, in response to a report from British press that revealed the National Security Agency commonly provides Israel with intelligence data — without first stripping out private and personal information on American citizens. The Guardian in London reported the item, the latest in its coverage of document leaks from Edward Snowden.
