Fierce clashes between police and protesters on the streets of Paris left riot officers injured after the fringes of an annual trade union demonstration turned violent.

A water cannon was deployed and tear gas filled the air on the sidelines of the march as masked youths threw Molotov cocktails at security forces.

The more we turn to the State to force one view or the other upon the populace the worse these things will get. Bastiat was right, when plunder is legalized then everyone gets involved in the plundering so they get plundered less and plunder others most. This is generally true across the board on every issue. The more you get the State involved, the more people will turn to the State to protect themselves and enforce their vision of how everything should be on others.

When the locals stand up against these Antifa vandals, they are in trouble. It's the communities where a lot of the public are communist sympathizers that it gets completely out of hand (like Berkeley).
