Will Obama donate money from his book deals/ $400K Wall Street speeches to wounded veterans of Afghan war & other wars he escalated/started, drone attacks innocent victims?
Should he?
President Bush is giving money from his book deal to US military veterans wounded in Iraq/Afghan wars.

There is no announcement from Obama so far. Speculation about Obama donating this money was apparently started by pro-Bush Fox news hosts:

A quick amazon check shows George W Bush has written 6 or more books since he started 2 wars. I don't see any info about him donating any money of any books other than this last one, which is about our soldiers, to vets.

Ok, I stand corrected, so Bush also profiteered after his wars torn Presidency. In that case Obama will be behaving like Bush on his book deals if he only gave one of his books proceeds to cause of veterans wounded by wars he oversaw.
I had also just assumed that Bush did not make big checks from speeches to Wall Street, will need to look up that also to validate that assumption.

And Trump is profiting from the presidency within a few months of taking office, as well as giving crony positions to his daughter and son in law. Not interested in that though, right? Heh. As if Obama for some reason wasn't going to cash in like almost every modern president before him has?

There will be plenty of time to address regular corruption issues, primary focus of this discussion was "money drenched in blood" involving leaders who led US into wars. These are not regular Joes making a little dough as a side gig after quitting their main jobs.

As for Trump, who says he's exempt from criticism?

He has mixed record in first couple of months and there tends to be lot of initial fakenews mixed with real news in media. Time will tell about the dominant character of his Presidency, just not quite ready to award him Nobel Peace prize yet so quickly based on such brief record.

Trump pledges to donate $1 million of personal money to Harvey relief (http://kdvr.com/2017/08/31/trump-pledges-to-donate-1-million-of-personal-money-to-harvey-relief/)
FOX31 Denver Aug 31, 2017

This would put pressure on other high profile figures Obama, Clinton, Bush and others who can afford to make donations from their personal wealth.
Bush's fortunes seem to have dwindled down and only recent reported activity has been his painting art work that may not fetch big bucks. Obama may be in better position to match Trump's donation thanks to his Wall Street speeches deals gigs and winnings from Nobel Peace prize.

No, he should do with his money what he pleases, but I hope that means charity (since we paid him). I don't like Bush or Obama anymore than the next red-blooded, freedom loving man, but the book profits are theirs to keep. Yeah, its profiteering and grandstanding, deflecting controversy for the current warmonger-in-chief, maybe also clearing the conscience, but voters ultimately went along.
