The White House slapped wide-ranging sanctions on 271 Syrian scientists yesterday for what it claimed was their work on chemical weapons related to the April 4th attack. Proof? None. US certified 100 percent of Syria's chemical stockpile was destroyed in 2014. Yet the Administration is somehow certain that Assad was behind the attack. Who's the real target here? Russia? Iran?

Nobody cares. After all it's only sanctions right? It's not like he bombed them or anything.

US imposes 'sweeping' Syria sanctions over 'chemical' attack

The treasury department ordered a freeze on all assets in the US of 271 employees of the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Centre (SSRC).
The US believes SSRC made the nerve agent that killed more than 80 people in the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhoun.

The sanctions mean that American citizens will be forbidden from having any dealings with them.

The US goonerment also believes that this was sarin shot from a Russian-built Su-22 (?) . . . that is quite a claim.

Daniel McAdams states that one (or the only) eyewitness is a 14-year girl in Khan Sheikhoun that is used for the US narrative . . .
but also note her statement would actually contradict that she witnessed what was the sarin missile "crater in the road"

A 14-year-old resident of the attacked town, Mariam Abu Khalil, said she had left home for her examination on the Quran — scheduled for early morning because fewer bombings were expected then — when the attack took place.

On the way, she saw an aircraft drop a bomb on a one-story building a few dozen yards away. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/04/world/middleeast/syria-gas-attack.html
