I need some help with getting started on a blog, I decided to do this as a way to keep you guys updated on what is happening in Iowa.

Anyone have any experience? I want to get this set up tonight.

I want to know how to do this the right way though, and get some serious readers as well as make money to donate to the campaign.

You could register a domain name and use Blogger or Word Press. Go Daddy is a good place to start. http://www.godaddy.com

The easiest and best thing to do (if you don't have a webhost) is to sign up at wordpress.com (painless and free)

The easiest and best thing to do (if you have a webhost) is to install Wordpress from wordpress.org. (occasional maintenance - but seo benefits for your domain)

Read "Naked Conversations" by Robert Scoble - they'll teach you the how.

P.S. I'd like to see a project of 1,000,000 Ron Paul Blogs -for many reasons this would give the MSM and the conversation tracking software fits.

blogger/blogspot is extremely lame and not conversation friendly.
