The 11 Gun Bills Tulsi Gabbard Won’t Support  — While ‘Standing With’ Senate Dems

In fact, Rep. Gabbard has declined to co-sponsor any common sense gun control legislation, including H.R.4269— the Assault Weapons Ban of 2015 — which is co-sponsored by 125 of Gabbard’s fellow Democrats. Here are the other nine gun bills that Gabbard has NOT supported:

H.R.4748—Imported Assault Weapons Ban of 2016
H.R.3926 — Gun Violence Research Act
H.R.3411 — Fix Gun Checks Act of 2015
H.R.2380 — Gun Show Loophole Closing Act of 2015
H.R.1745 — Support Assault Firearms Elimination and Reduction for our Streets Act
H.R.752 — Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act
H.R.226 — Keeping Guns from High Risk Individuals Act
H.R.225 — Firearm Safety Act of 2015
H.R.224 — To require the Surgeon General of the Public Health Service to submit to Congress an annual report on the effects of gun violence on public health.

lol.. what war? That's not what she said at all. She said she was against the single attack that has taken place, then she blew it out of proportion by overstating how damaging it was to Syria.. blowing it out of proportion was her only mistake, otherwise I think she did great, she is one of the best out there and by far the best on team (D).

I would prefer Johnson to Trump in a less manipulative world, but after seeing what deep state is doing to Trump I have a feeling they would have Johnson all over the mat.

We need someone like Rand to have a go, he is really smart and is much more clued in to the workings of deep state, but he is also a lot more principled than Trump.

CNN and Blitzer were a big part of that successful media campaign to push the American public into supporting a destructive, counterproductive regime change war.

Prominent Democrats Call For Anti-War Congresswoman To Be Ousted From Office

http://dailycaller.com/2017/04/10/prominent-democrats-call-for-anti-war-congresswoman-to-be-ousted-from-office/

Top Democrats are not pleased that Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard pushed the U.S. to collect and release evidence from the scene of the chemical attack in Syria.

Gabbard visited Syria and met with President Bashar al-Assad in January and has been consistently cautious about American involvement in the Middle Eastern county. The Hawaii congresswoman said in a statement that the airstrikes on Syria were “short-sighted and will lead to more dead civilians, more refugees, the strengthening of al-Qaida and other terrorists, and a possible nuclear war between the United States and Russia.”

She also said she has not seen enough evidence that Assad was behind the chemical attack that led to the death of dozens of civilians. Gabbard said an investigation was necessary before responding, and that “if President Assad is found to be responsible after an independent investigation for these horrific chemical weapons attacks, I’ll be the first one to call for his prosecution and execution by the International Criminal Court.” U.S. officials have maintained Syria was responsible for the attack as radar showed Syrian warplanes in the area during the incident.

Neera Tanden, head of the Center for American Progress, and former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean both responded to Gabbard’s comments with outrage.

“This is a disgrace. Gabbard should not be in Congress,” Dean tweeted Saturday.

Tanden said, “People of Hawaii’s 2nd district – was it not enough for you that your rep met with a murderous dictator? Will this move you?”
Gabbard responded to the criticism in a tweet Monday, where she said, “Those who’ve declared Trump a habitual liar now vilify those refusing to blindly follow him into another regime change war. Hypocrisy.”

Trump’s strike on Syria received broad bipartisan support, with both House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer backing the decision.

In the mid-1970s, Blitzer also contributed to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as the editor of their monthly publication, the Near East Report.[10][11] While at AIPAC, Blitzer's writing focused on Middle East affairs as they relate to United States foreign policy.

Gabbard is the 2017 version of the 07/08 Dennis Kucinich, for those that were here during that election cycle he was friend more than a foe to Ron Paul.

When Gabbard bailed on Hilary against all odds, you new she was her own woman and would not be coerced not the preordained pick of the DNC.
If she runs and loses in another rigged 2020 primary they will give Trump another 4 years, but if this time they let it play out organically and she wins, she will also win the 2020 election. Trump won't be able to do to her what he did to Hillary, and the Democrats will come out in force to oust Trump this time.

If Rand wants to hedge his bets he should work with her to get stuff done for the betterment of America starting right now.

It's funny you said that. Gabbard and Kucinich went together to Syria a few months back to actually witness things first hand unlike some of the chicken hawks we have currently in Congress.

Tulsi Gabbard, Dennis Kucinich Travel To Syria On Fact Finding, Peace Mission

In a surprise revelation, U.S. Representative from Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, has embarked upon an unannounced visit to Syria for a “fact-finding trip . . . to promote and work for peace.” Gabbard did not announce her trip publicly for obvious safety and security reasons. However, now that the news is out, the Western corporate press is reacting in apoplectic rage at her audacity to act in a manner unapproved by the establishment.

These press outlets have attacked her for not giving “advance notice” to Democratic Party leadership, for not yet disclosing who funded the trip, and for possibly meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. [We are sure the same reaction would be provided if she had traveled to Israel, right?] Gabbard has even been maligned as the GOP’s favorite Democrat, a wholly unfair label but one ironically hoisted upon her because of her opposition to international destabilization and imperialist wars.

What her office did say in regards to the trip was that, “She felt it was important to meet with a number of individuals and groups including religious leaders, humanitarian workers, refugees and government and community leaders.”

Gabbard is a member of the House Foreign Affairs and Armed Services Committee and is herself an Iraq war veteran. She has repeatedly called for an end to America’s arming and assisting of terrorist groups in Syria, even introducing the Stop Arming Terrorists Act, which would bar the U.S. government from providing money or assistance to al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, Jobhat Fatah al-Sham, and the Islamic State.

“If you or I gave money, weapons or support to al-Qaeda or ISIS, we would be thrown in jail,” she said. “Yet the U.S. government has been violating this law for years, quietly supporting allies and partners of al-Qaeda, ISIL . . . and other terrorist groups with money, weapons and intelligence support, in their fight to overthrow the Syrian government.”

Gabbard is not alone on the trip, however. Former Ohio Congressman and Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich is also in Syria, according to reports, having visiting both Damascus and Aleppo. Kucinich has long been a critic of U.S. aggression both under the Bush and Obama regimes.

As he stated to Sputnik in November of last year, “The United States has made wrong decisions and needs to change its course, and change it quickly. We need to back away from this idea that somehow we are going to usurp the administration of [Syrian President] Bashar al-Assad. That is not our job. It is not for us to determine who the leaders of any country should be.”

He also added that, “It does not do us any good to continue to spread Cold War psychology, to engage in fantasies and lies about Russia’s role in the United States and to build policies upon those fantasies and lies.”

According to Syrian Pastor, Ibrahim Nasser, both Gabbard and Kucinich, as part of the delegation, affirmed their opposition to America’s foreign policy under the Obama administration of the destabilization and destruction of Syria. Pastor Nasser stated, “During the meeting [with the church officials] as members of the US Congress they confirmed that they oppose the policy of their administration, especially with regard to the issue of support of terrorists and they will try to convey the real picture to the US people.”
