Wow. That last sentence "I'm Ron Paul, and I approve this message" looked so personal!! Like he really talked to ME and really, really meant it. So different from the canned, hastily spoken way it is usually added.

I'm impressed.

Fantastic commercial!

This gives me a lot more confidence in the official campaign.

Good video. Short, to the point, not full of pandering, short enough to keep the attention of the typical ADD TV watcher.

No complaints here.

Mmmm... better, but these ads still look cheap.
They should spend much more in production values, that would give him more credibility in such a short time.

Better. Still too many words, and not that well written. I really, really hope they are using a professional firm to do these and not just someone in the family or some guy a staffer knows.

But it's advertising and it's for Ron Paul and its on peoples' televisions, so maybe it doesn't matter as long as it's good enough.

That also immediately struck me. I noticed that he was more relaxed and personable in a clip from SC rally. Experience helps, and if he is getting some professional coaching that is good too.

Great ad, BUT...

I wish it would have discussed specifics about his health care proposals, i.e. tax credits for health insurance, eliminating burdensome regulations, allowing alternative treatments, allowing doctors to collectively bargain with insurance companies and drug companies, etc..

Still, highlighting the fact he's a doctor is a MUST.

I am proud that my money is (in part) paying for this ad

Good job HQ

Can we expect more in the coming week to show us that HQ does know how to make good ads and that our money bomb won't be wasted money?

It's a very good ad and I think some people who aren't as keen as others might forget the demographic that these ads are targeting. People who do not know about Ron Paul and who do not use the Internet a lot.

These kinds of ads DO WORK, check some of the most successful informercials of all time, the ones that have made millions and millions of dollars. They often have this rought around the eges, homely vibe and THEY WORK. Unfortunately cause many of us are young or tech savvy we have come to expect flash graphics etc. But that's not the only strategy that works!

Good ad. People will look into his position on healthcare seeing that he's a medical doctor. Then they'll see everything else he believes in, and they'll be hooked.
Great job campaign!

I like it, it's better than the first cheesy ad!

+better acting
+more visuals
+more personalized Paul video
+paul doesn't look like he has a cakeface and constipated

I want to see the interview he was doing in the last part of the ad! Thats probably gonna be used for more commercials.

But, I wish he noted

he would give tax credits
allow doctors to be in charge of negotiating
and all that stuff

Very big improvement over previous Official ads.

I wish they would just spend a little more money and polish up the ads instead of using cash register sound efx :)

and he looked great at the end! I just want to send him some hard-candy just like my grandfather used to like!

I am glad they did not go into specifics. Right now this add has the support of every single person watching. Liberals like it (anti-big business) and Conservatives like it (anti-government care) and Independents like it (Personal care b/t you and your doctor)....... but once we start throwing in specific proposals that unique coalition will fall apart.

Healthcare ad? ABSOLUTELY GREAT.

Thanks campaign. Great job. You can tell this was a cheap production, but it was not a "cheap" video. Good resource maximization. Good end result.

I wish they would turn this video THEY POSTED into a 1:00 ad.

Hahaha! I was about to post the same thing.

That guy says, "Ron Paul has seen it all" and there was the Doctor squatting down getting ready to examine that woman's naughty bits. That had be intentional.

I especially like the part "and he's seen it all"

A little self nudge towards his profession?

The campaign should just use the ads from operation NH, cause they are fantastic. Especially the Jeremiah Black ads.
