Seriously, dead is dead. When we pushed for a ban on chemicals weapons, Arab countries said "Sure....as long as there is a ban on using nuclear weapons too." Why? Because Israel has nukes. Why are chemical weapons worse than nukes? Biological weapons I can see. Don't want a worldwide pandemic. (Though that can't happen with anthrax.) But why should chemical weapons be seen as worse than nukes? In fact, why are they worse than conventional bombs and landmines? We still use landmines. One hundred years from now some Iraqi or Afghani child might be killed by a landmine we placed there years ago. Why is that okay?

Depends, if I had a foreign backed army who has come into my country to take it over and after failing to repel them with conventional weapons, I would not hesitate to attack said foreign army and the civilian population that supports them with chemical and biological weapon if I believed it would lead to the end of the conflict. The silly part about this argument is that why everybody is outraged by the use of chemical and biological weapons, conventional weapons are leaving million more people to die and suffer and destroying the infrastructure that would sustain the lucky ones who survived.

For me, the chemical and biological weapons would come out flying asap if I believed that they would implement strict sharia law and kill off ethnic minorities in the country after they take over. "Extreme" violence can be used for Good - V in V for vendetta.

Exactly and after the war, Poland was still occupied not by Germany obviously but by the Soviets. The so called liberators forgot their purpose of the war and at the end, they came up with a different reason why they should have acted sooner.

It also seems that FDR drove the Japs into war with oil sanctions, with full knowledge that they would have to attack. Both WW I & II were to serve the MIC, it was never about "freedom."

There is also some thoughts that much of what we hear about Hitler was lying propaganda (shocker) and that when General Patten took over Germany he said as much. Unfortunately Patten died in a mysterious car accident not long after his statements.

The G7 appears to have joined calls for an independent investigation ... Such an investigation was supposed to be the subject of a meeting of the UN Security Council which was taking place last week. Instead that meeting was indefinitely postponed, the US declared President Assad guilty of the attack, and launched its missiles in reprisal. The result is that a further week has passed, giving ample opportunity for those involved to cover up or doctor the evidence, and with no less a person than the President of the United States publicly declaring President Assad guilty and launching his missiles in reprisal, ...

three European members of the G7 – Germany, France and Italy – that are pressing hardest for the investigation. Russia: Syria Willing to Comply With Military Base Investigation


Russian President Vladimir Putin will appeal to the United Nations for an investigation into last Tuesday's chemical attack in Syria, the Associated Press is reporting. Shortly after that statement, Col. Gen. Sergei Rudskoy of the Russian General Staff said that Syria is willing to allow inspections of its military bases.
