What do you all think?

I'm thinking it's a hot enough topic to garner wide support from tea partiers/etc and if successful would send a hell of a message.

I'm thinking the "Liberty Candidates Moneybomb" model, where totals are compiled as donors donate directly to their choice of recipient.

I also think it would be classic for RPFs to resurrect what we pioneered.

Would need a core team to get off the ground...

Anyone? Thoughts?

Great idea, I think this might be precisely what Trump had in mind...

It would be good to know which members are most vulnerable to an establishment primary challenge. And the establishment will probably let us know based on where they field primary candidates.

What if the site listed them all (+ allies) and then highlighted the most vulnerable?

Yep, something like that would help.

May even want to add Rand and refer to the "Freedom Caucus" more generally.

Need a good name/theme...

when would you be having it?

Not sure yet. The issue is hot right now so would be a good time to start promoting. Maybe 4th of July? Make it easy for people to donate via mobile? Or schedule their donation to drop that day?

Excellent idea OP

When would be the most opportune time?

Right now would be good, but a successful MB takes time to plan.

So, wait till the primary challengers reveal themselves, then crush their hopes and dreams?

July is good. By then, any serious primary challengers would be known.

Just don't do it on May Day, you don't want to show any weakness or panic around the Donald.

Does Matt Kibbe still run a PAC? Either he or Ed Crane may be interested in supporting HFC.

you will need a promotional plan
since we do not have the numbers to mass spam like we used to and rules on FB and such discourage it now
you will need ad donations (I nominate Bryan to be treasurer)
and someone will need to make up a banner
will need a FB to gather pledges and Twitter to promote thru

Issue with 4th of July is people are on holiday, but the timing/etc is good

I'd imagine they still do. Not sure the pros/cons of running it through a PAC...

We at least need a name to start building the socnet infrastructure... I have ok reach on FB/Twitter and expect to be able to get more visible accounts to help...

Any estimates of what an ad campaign might cost?

PS - leaving on a biz trip today so will only be online sporadically for the next week...

Driving 1100 miles this trip. Time to think...

What if we had a barrage, culminating in the 4th, rather than a bomb.

A website to record pledges and confirmed donations. Pledges can be fulfilled anytime but a grand finale.on the 4th would be classic. Donors are directed through the site to campaign websites. Could also list a few friendly electoral pacs for those who don't have a preference on which speficity candidate to support. My web skilz are.poor but I don't imagine this being very complex. Campaigns can track donors coming from us to record confirmed totals?

Jus musing in the road...
