https://twitter.com/KedronBardwell/status/847628730931396608Trump is just saying this in order to lure Paul Ryan into backing a challenger and then he can turn against Ryan after Sanford loses and then Ryan will be gone.

Of course. Can't you all see the ping pong game. They're all friends.
dannno would let you know that they are all just dogs in a park. Sniffing each others asses is just natural.

All's good. Hopefully,

What percentage do you give it that you could be wrong. 1%? .001%?

So he would prefer strong guys like Paul Ryan, John McCain and the rest of his favorite neocons right?

I don't see him threatening to primary Paul Ryan in 2018. He endorsed John McCain so now you are just lying.

Why do you care what he says all of a sudden? Like I said, actions speak louder than words, this is all meaningless.

I guess you think Ron Paul likes Mitt Romney, too

I don't worship Ron Paul like you worship Trump. And if Ron Paul said he liked Mitt Romney, I would take his word for it. You care about what Tump says a lot more than I do. That is why you jump from thread to thread defending his honor.

I've sent you a neg. rep. I added the message "Just because..."

You'll be getting that a lot. Won't matter because since '07 you have become "Beyond repute." I was one of the idiots that from time to time gave you reputation. So your not the only idiot.

I think he wanted the job, but he thinks he can just delegate like he's the CEO of Trump Corp. In Washington, he will be eaten alive with this strategy. You need to be hands on and cutthroat to maneuver in D.C.

The only redeeming feature of this presidency is the fact that Trump will be double-crossed in the end by the usual suspects. Then the real fireworks will begin and the possible liberation of Trump as POTUS.

DJT made a deal with the GOPe to get his agenda passed. It's transparently obvious. There is no extra-dimensional chess at work.

I meant Rand Paul, Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney. Do you think Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney because he likes him?

No, Rand endorsed Romney for political capital and Trump is claiming he is going to primary freedom caucus members for political capital. I am merely theorizing as to the motivations and how that is going to play out, but to take it as it appears, I assure you, is a mistake. This is politics, not The Honest Hour with Your Host Jesus Christ.

Do you really not understand that his little tweet could ruin some of their careers and dry up fundraising? Or is that part of his great plan to help them?

I suspect he will come to his senses and this is not going to be his "settled" position. He has a track record of being impulsive, filter-free in his rhetoric and on many issues has said 180 degree opposite things. But after a while it gets clear what his real stance is and what was smart or dumb bluff.
But you are right, if he really maintained such a position, it will be political suicide.

Maybe it will increase their fundraising. Hold on, is that what he is trying to do in the first place? ;)

Maybe it will increase their fundraising. Hold on, is that what he is trying to do in the first place? ;) Maybe 20 buck donations from RPF, but the bigger donors aren't going to invest in a guy who's being primaried by a president from his own party.

He will jump all over the place. Part of this is his "Art of the Deal" bullshit. Attack, make nice, attack, make nice, until everyone is so tired and desensitized that they just throw in on his deal.

That sounds eerily similar to Suzanimal 's famous Perry Mason technique.

Yep. It may take a while before the art of realestate deals settles into the art of political deals.

When Trump was acting conservative his approval rating was on the uptick, now that he's acting like an establishment hog it's tanking. Maybe he should take a hint before his approval ratings reach congressional levels.

Lol Trump sent Mulvaney to threaten Meadows? I'm just going to assume he's doing another round of his "art of the deal" bluffs.

But as another member posted, he cut a deal with the establishment.

Dude needs to wise the fuck up. These are people who stumped for him and helped deliver 4 swing states, especially Meadows. Their constituents are among the ones who would be hurt the most by AHCA.
