I can't wait to see the rest of it.

PBS, regardless of what they have on, is always fair and done very well.

"Hello, I'm PBS. Here are all the facts regarding this subject. Form your own opinion."

Too bad the MSM doesn't work this way.

A lot of people criticize PBS and call it nothing but left wing propaganda, but all the news and journalism I have seen on there has, on the whole, been far more honest than I have ever seen on the MSM. Plus, it has given many millions of us exposure to ideas - both political and artistic, that we would never have had a chance to see otherwise. And I think this piece on Dr. Paul is further evidence that if you want to see real journalism you have to turn to PBS. PBS is one of the few things I would like to see the government still support even though there is no Constitutional mandate for it. It is a pittance compared the many other ways the government throws away our money.

PBS Frontline was just about the only program on broadcast television in the entire U.S. where you could get honest coverage of how we were misled in the rush to war. Everyone should go to the Frontline website and see for yourselves some of the programs in their archive if you aren't a regular viewer.

And the PBS GOP Debate was the highest quality, fairest televised debate of the season, and Congressman Paul did exceptionally there. There's a good reason the "frontrunners" didn't show up. They can't compete on equal footing with the real candidates.

i'm the girl in the black jacket carrying the clipboard with the tan hat on walking across the screen to the left. the guy behind me is Jason from Kansas City, he recently moved to Chicago and was an assistant organizer of the KC group which had that awesome rally in a theatre in KC just before the Hy-Vee Hall Freedom Rally.

I'm about an hour north of the city. What day and time is the rally in Crown Pointe?

It's this Saturday, the 15th in at the Crown Point square. If you've never been to there, its a very nice courthouse.. we'll be surrounding it with people and signs. :)

I like how you can always tell when it was filmed by looking at the money ticker on the main RP page.

I'm surprised the guy who organized Nov. 5th is 37, I'd think he was 27-ish.

"PBS is one of the few things I would like to see the government still support even though there is no Constitutional mandate for it. It is a pittance compared the many other ways the government throws away our money."

We can't pick and choose with the constitution. If we ignore that part of it, then others can ignore other parts that we value such as the 1st and 2nd amendments. Instead why not just have states have a public broadcasting and they can choose to join in to PBS if they want. I am pretty sure PBS gets most of its funding through viewers also. Regardlessly it is decent programming in a time where most MSM is Orwellian in nature.

Amen.

On Edit: Actually I don't like states running PBS-like networks, either.

No reason that individuals who support unbiased news programming couldn't band together and voluntarily fund their vision. But they don't have the right to coerce others via taxes or other mechanisms to fund that vision.

someone might've already state this but....

Get the word out. Not just on the net but flood the streets with signs that point passerbys to your local PBS channel and time. But of course it's on a Friday night at 8:30 in my town but older voters might take a gander at it.

We can advertise on the streets by having one sign that says "Who's Ron Paul" then another that reads "Find out on (channel) @ (time)". Pass out his lit with the scheduled airtime for you area, and tell the people it's such a phenomenon that PBS has already done a special on him!!!!

Hit the streets with advertisement for PBS!!!

and

Let the other TV Networks and News Networks know that they missed the train.

This is the message i'm sending out:

"PBS will be airing "The Ron Paul Phenomenon" on their NOW show Dec. 14th and in doing so, PBS, will be getting free advertisement from all of Paul's supporters around the country as we flood the internet and the streets with the news. Sorry you missed the train, we gave you your chance and you blew it!!!"

This is what we need right befor the TeaParty and the upcoming Primaries!!!
