Yes, that was a hostile interview. And the guy was a divide and conquer establishment neocon who wants the Freedom Caucus to look bad.

Massie brings up exactly what would work: breaking it down into smaller bills, most of which would pass. The problem being that Ryan and the establishment love their omnibus style mega bills so they hide pork and special interest favors.
