Tim Allen says that living in Hollywood right now is akin to Nazi Germany.

The comedian made the claim while appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"You gotta be real careful around here," Allen noted. "You get beat up if you don't believe what everybody else believes. This is like '30s Germany."

Allen, 63, plays an outspoken conservative on the sitcom "Last Man Standing" and is one of the few actors in Hollywood to profess having right-wing leanings.

When Kimmel asked him about attending the inaugruation ceremony the "Home Improvement" star's eyes bulged and he stammered: "I was invited, we did a VIP thing for the vets, and went to a veterans ball, so I went to go see Democrats and Republicans."

"Yeah I went to the inauguration," he added.

The Oscar-winning actors Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz have fuelled furious divisions within Hollywood over the Gaza conflict by accusing Israel of committing “genocide” in the territory.

Pledges to shun the Spanish actors – believed to have been made privately by a handful of top industry executives – came after Bardem and Cruz, who are married, signed an open letter denouncing “the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army”.
The letter accused Israel of stoking the conflict by “advancing on Palestinian territories instead of withdrawing to the 1967 borders”. It added: “Gaza is living through horror . . . while the international community does nothing.”
The backlash was swift, with the actor Jon Voight calling for Cruz, 40, and Bardem, 45, to “hang your heads…

In a new book, one of his senior aides, Alyssa Mastromonaco, claims that the ex-prez tried to set her up with Hollywood powerhouse producer Lawrence Bender — with dismal results.
Mastromonaco writes in “Who Thought This Was a Good Idea? And Other Questions You Should Have Answers to When You Work in the White House” that the president “enjoyed gossiping about my dating life (or lack thereof).”

To be fair, he expressed some conservatory leaning views (on Reagan/guns/beer etc.) in couple of episodes of "Last Man Standing".
But all is not as it may seem, it was still hollywood.
