Thank goodness the CiC doesn't share any responsibility.

This adds credence to the sense that President Trump is going to be a bit more hands-off on his escalations, giving the military commanders additional leeway on actions, and even on troop levels, which is likely to raise further questions about what those commanders intend to do in the war, if they no longer have to get permission first.

His hands are clean. Believe me. They're the cleanest hands.

EDIT: And I'm so happy that it looks like only 4 civilians may have died according to the official Pentagon count.

I'm guessing DGP will still let his paying members fly the drones on the weekends

"... in deadly raid." -- um yeah under Obama nobody died in military operations: raids are normally just games of backgammon over tea. Except when Trump is president!

I don't recall Obama ever giving the go ahead and laying the blame on a general if it went bad. Trump was sure to play up the supposed treasure trove of intel, made media by going to meet the casket, yet the current commander in chief made sure to blame the military for the death.

I don't support US troops killin folks in Yemen. Yemen isn't a threat to US national security. So yeh Trump is responsible for all the dead.

The faux media outrage is pure hypocrisy though.

Here's Iona's article at The Intercept: https://theintercept.com/2017/03/09/women-and-children-in-yemeni-village-recall-horror-of-trumps-highly-successful-seal-raid/

I condemned Obama for his military intervention. He is no longer CiC. As long as Trump continues down the same road then I will condemn him also.
