Seems that Paul Ryan is once again conning us. This afternoon while on the Sean Hannity show Paul Ryan indicated a number of things which “conservatives” want with respect to replacing Obamcare [repeal of McCarran-Ferguson which would end the insurance industry’s exemption from anti-trust laws; allowing the purchase of health insurance across state lines; health savings accounts; etc.] will probably be met with resistance in the Senate by Democrats using the filibuster. But that assertion is being completely disingenuous considering the nuclear options is available, and especially so because the Democrats used it in 2013 to get their way.

Paul Ryan needs to stop snow-jobbing us and pretending the filibuster is an obstacle to “conservative” ideas being adopted in the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.

Use the nuclear option and tell the Democrats to go pound sand! The America People voted to get rid of Obamacare, and one of Trump’s requirements in getting rid of Obamacare was the assurance of purchasing health insurance across state lines.

Trump needs to take Paul Ryan to the wood-shed and deal with this swamp creature who is the darling of the Washington Establishment.

"Elections have consequences" ___ Obama

Millions of citizens have lost their health-care under Obamacare, and many more millions cannot use Obamacare because of Obamacare’s outrageous premiums and deductible. Repeal and replace Obamacare with nothing, and repeal McCarran-Ferguson.

Didn't they also use reconciliation to get Obamacare passed?

The focus on what isn't in the bill is itself a distraction.

The main problem is what is in the bill, namely, the subsidies tax credits.

I think they used the nuclear option to change the Senate cloture rule. But I could be wrong.

What provision in Ryan’s health insurance replacement Bill makes it a criminal offense and/or prevents illegal aliens and their children from receiving taxpayer financed health care, except in life death situations?

American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax slaves and forced to finance the personal economic needs of millions of foreigners who have invaded America’s borders.

See: Kevin Brady Scolds Conservatives: 'No More Fiddling Around' (http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/kevin-brady-obamacare-repeal-replace/2017/03/08/id/777662/)

“No more excuses, no more fiddling around," Brady said. "Today, we begin the repeal of Obamacare."

Brady defended against conservatives' criticism that the plan doesn't include everything out of the gate — malpractice insurance reform and selling across state lines, e.g.”

It is absolutely stunning how many swamp creatures have invaded the “conservative movement”, and use their position to attack “conservatives’ an those who support and defend our Constitution.

American citizens are being taxed $MILLIONS to provide health-care to illegal aliens and their children!

See Senate report: Illegal immigrants benefited from up to $750M in ObamaCare subsidies (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02/08/senate-report-illegal-immigrants-benefited-from-up-to-750m-in-obamacare-subsidies.html)

”The report, produced by Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, examined Affordable Care Act tax credits meant to defray the cost of insurance premiums. It found that as of June 2015, “the Administration awarded approximately $750 million in tax credits on behalf of individuals who were later determined to be ineligible because they failed to verify their citizenship, status as a national, or legal presence.”
The review found the credits went to more than 500,000 people – who are illegal immigrants or whose legal status was unclear due to insufficient records.”

How does Paul Ryan's Bill address this?

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services confirmed to FoxNews.com on Monday that 471,000 customers with 2015 coverage failed to produce proper documentation on their citizenship or immigration status on time – but stressed that this does not necessarily mean they’re ineligible.

“Lack of verification does not mean an individual is ineligible for financial assistance, but only that a Marketplace did not receive sufficient information to verify eligibility in the time period outlined in the law,” CMS spokesman Aaron Albright said.

JWKIf they changed the rule, then that would still hold true today, wouldn't it?

I'm generally opposed to the use of the 'nuclear option' / permanent removal of the filibuster because it means that it will forever be easier to pass legislation in future, and it seems to me that the people are better served by less rather than more legislation.
