Long story short, when the BBC said facebook support child pornography, and proved it by sending facebook links to facebook child porn accounts, Facebook tried to have the BBC reporters investigated for child porn distribution, because they shared links to facebook child porn sites... ...even though the BBC had already told facebook before that facebook had child porn sites in its network.
These are the same slimy tactics Twitter has used against people who have reported child porn Twitter accounts to Twitter. Twitter has banned the reporters, and left the accounts up.
