(CNN)US President Donald Trump has announced he wants a $54 billion increase in defense spending in his first budget, taking the country's total military expenses to over $600 billion (http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/27/politics/trump-budget-proposal/index.html).Military spending by the United States already totaled as much as the next seven nearest countries' military spending combined (http://money.cnn.com/infographic/economy/us-defense-spending/)in 2014.
In fact, Trump's proposed defense spending surge is more than a fifth of China's estimated military budget for 2020 (http://money.cnn.com/2016/12/12/news/china-military-defense-defence-spending/), about $233 billion, and almost a quarter of what Beijing is spending now.

no way to be conservative and find more efficiency in that huge budget right? We just have to spend more more more like good big government liberals!

i'd like to see our libertarian friends in congress go all in trying to kill any increase. I've fricking had it with warmongers and fearmongers. this dumbass president and all his cowardly minions need to realize that we have huge moats on two sides that provide a helluva lot of defense for free.
