Vice President Joe Biden kisses Hallie Biden, the widow of the vice president's son, former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, before his funeral services, Saturday, June 6, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, Del. Also pictured is Beau Biden's son, Hunter, bottom left, and brother Hunter. Beau Biden died of brain cancer May 30 at age 46.

llie Biden, the widow of Joe Biden's late son Beau, is reportedly now in a relationship with Hunter Biden nearly two years after the former vice president's first son succumbed to brain cancer.

The romantic relationship was exclusively reported Wednesday by Page Six, which confirmed that Hunter Biden, 47, has been separated from his wife Kathleen, with whom he has three children, since late 2015.

In a statement to the gossip column, the attorney and businessman explained that he and Hallie Biden "found the love and support we have for each other" in the difficult period following Beau Biden's passing in May 2015.

The former vice president has cited his son's death as the sole reason he held off from making a 2016 presidential run.

Beau Biden, once the state attorney general of Delaware and an Iraq war veteran, had two children with Hallie.

A second statement from Joe Biden said the couple has the family's full support:

Former Vice President Joe Biden added that he and his wife Dr. Jill Biden have given their blessing to the relationship. He said, “We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”
Joe Biden recently accepted a pair of diplomacy-focused positions at the University of Pennsylvania and his alma mater, the University of Delaware. On Tuesday, Biden spoke at a Penn Medicine cancer forum for the first time since taking on a role at the Ivy League school.

I think that might even be biblical - from old testament law. And then don't the kids from the new marriage carry on the dead guy's legacy?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't say to separate from your current wife in order to do so though. However, reptilian family relationships are out of my area of expertise and it aint none of my business anyways.

I think he's suppose to stay married to the first wife and take his brother's wife as second wife.

Why does anyone have a problem with this? It's not uncommon for traumatic events to bring people who were already close, even closer. Hell there's been a couple romantic drama movies about this exact same thing:

Studies find that "dad" is not really the bio-father much more than expected...

Scientists were eyeballing blood types in the British town of West Isleworth, taking the red stuff from entire families. They realized, to their dismay, that fully 30 percent of the children had blood types which proved that they couldn’t possibly be biologically related to their “fathers.” The true rate of illegitimacy was still higher, though, because even some fathers and bastards would have matching blood types due to coincidence. The researchers estimated that the true rate was around 50 percent.

Not nearly as sick as these "keepin' it in the family" freaks.

This old news came to mind, was it about the same son?

EXCLUSIVE: 'Ashley Madison' suicide cop killed himself after police-hating website CLAIMED his email address was among members even though it WASN'T actually on leaked list

Questions: A profile for Robert 'Hunter' Biden exists in the leaked data with an email address which is still active. He claims it was not set up by him. But the vice-president's son, himself a Supreme Court lawyer has refused to answer questions about how a credit card registered to his name and address was used on the site

Did the dead brother have a son?

Deuteronomy 25:5 If brothers are living together and one of them dies without a son, his widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband's brother shall take her and marry her and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to her.

In the old times they just took second (and third) wives. ;) No need to separate from the current.
