As if this is the first President to issue executive orders...

This happens ever time we have a shift in team red or team blue.

The other side starts caring about executive orders... or government spending... or being anti-war...

Team blue - which is most of the media - is now spending their time being concerned about these things. And Google is responding to the demand.

If you live long enough you can become that which you hate.

And this new feature will disappear the moment a Democrat becomes President.

That would be sad. There needs to be a "Presidential Watch" to keep up.

I just posted one here,,
Seems the Federalized Police State just got a shot of Steroids. :(

Be careful how much power you give the president. Yesterday's obama could be tomorrows trump.

In my opinion, there's very little contrast. While the executive order feature is nice, its timing seems like another lib-tantrum. 8 years of absurd executive orders, circumventing law, subverting rights, assassinating American citizens... Better late than never, I guess.

I don't know the accuracy of this list (below), but here are some numbers:

Some select numbers:

Tops in raw numbers:

FDR--3721
Wilson--1803
Coolidge--1203
T Roosevelt--1061

Recent:

Truman--907
Ike--484
JFK--214
LBJ--325
Nixon--346
Ford--169
Carter--320
Reagan--381
Bush Sr--166
Clinton--364
Bush Jr--291
Obama--276

Rate (per year/term) would be another way to measure, but I guess people can just see the chart for themselves.

FYI, you can turn it off under "Personalize" on the right, and then click the trash can next to Executive Orders. You can also add and remove sources. I've pruned all of the heavily biased news sources off of mine and added a few in as well as added topics of interest.
