This is probably one of my favorite youtubers.

So, her theory is that trump is to lead the US to war with Iran.
She uses The Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institute report, Which Path to Persia, Options for a New American Strategy Towards Iran. (https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/06_iran_strategy.pdf)

Basically, she says that the Iran deal was made to look like Iran was given a great deal. The pallets of cash were shown to the American people to make them mad, and this is all part of manufacturing consent as advised in this report. The idea being that Iran is given a great deal, and although the war with Iran would be unpopular, "sadly" they refused a really great deal.

I don't like their sabre rattling towards Iran, I don't like the Israel love for their settlements, and I certainly did not like it when Sean Spicer said Iran attacked "one of our ships" when it was the Houthis that hit a Saudi ship.

That's plausible.

A more likely explanation, however, is that the current President is simply an idiot: has no clue what to do, about anything.

Thus, nonsense and chaos,

..and chaos and nonsense.

This is a very thoughtful anti-Trump piece, based on speculation but plausible - MallsRGood "more likely explanation" is complete nonsense.

We all acknowledged that Trump was a flawed candidate, but now you're telling me he's a neocon? C'mon...

Everything he's doing is in line with what he said during his campaign, including his stance on Iran, Russia, China and Israel. The "Which path to Persia" document has been out there for years, and yes, Obama was 100% a part of that neocon strategy, but Trump? Unwittingly at best IMO.

I'll give the video author credit for putting together a compelling case for those who are less aware, but from where I stand, there are 10 facts that directly contradict the author's thesis for every 1 fact that supports it.

I'll take a wait and see approach, but aside from the obvious issues we all have with his policies (which we knew about during the campaign), I like what I see so far.

I don't think he has any intention of going to war with Iran as the author claims.

I am leaning toward this explanation as well.

You should add "despite not having any relationship to MRG"

Trump Flip-Flops On Israel: Tells Netanyahu, No New Settlements

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-02-02/trump-flip-flops-israel-tells-netanyahu-no-new-settlements

Not what was said. Straight from the beasts' mouths: http://www.breitbart.com/jerusalem/2017/02/02/settlements-fake-news-trump-opposes-israel/

The American desire for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians has remained unchanged for 50 years. While we don’t believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace, the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving that goal. As the President has expressed many times, he hopes to achieve peace throughout the Middle East region. The Trump administration has not taken an official position on settlement activity and looks forward to continuing discussions, including with Prime Minister Netanyahu when he visits with President Trump later this month.

I wouldn't personally take this statement at face value, either.
