For the few RP republicans left on these forums, it is not propaganda. For facist state republicans? Yes probably.

After Trump won, I was like ok let see how he governs. Everyone knows he emits content out of his mouth like used vegetable matter from the south end of hippo but let's see what he actually does as president. Supreme court pick. Ok. The wall; 30 billion make work project that will be laughing stock for years to come. Travel ban; written in such a way as to make it a violation of the first amendment. Continues to show a complete lack of understanding of the constitution.

Pretty much my POV.

It depends on why people point to Obama's actions. If someone is pointing to Obama having done it as a reason to do it now, then yes it is an irrational argument and Carey is correct.

However many of us point to Obama's actions not as an argument for doing the same thing now, but rather to point out the hypocrisy of all those who either supported or turned a blind eye to the same actions when Obama did them.

Hypocrisy on all sides is so great right now, to even point it out is a joke. Every instant of pointing out hypocrisy resonates because it is true on both side. It has deteriorated to "Did not! Did too! did not! did To! did not! did to!" The only thing left is to laugh at both sides for trying to use hypocrisy to win an argument.

But you don't dare say that Bush set it all in place & Obama followed in his stead.

Trump will basically just be 5th term George W Bush.

But you don't dare say that Bush set it all in place & Obama followed in his stead. :rolleyes:Yes, of course, Obama embraced the Bush doctrine, injected it with steroids, and stepped on the gas. It has been 16 years of OBushma. To break the cycle is to call out the hypocrisy of those who cyclically embrace and then despise the very same policies depending on what color jersey the guy in office is wearing.

Caught in the false left-right dichotomy, red team versus blue team, as if there can be no other option.
And yet, suppressing the continuous hypocrisy does nothing to break that endless left-right cycle. While it may cause cognitive dissonance for many, to break the cycle is to call out the hypocrisy of those who cyclically embrace and then despise the very same policies depending on what color jersey the guy in office is wearing.

The left never had real principals. The right stands on them when they are not wielding power, once they picked up the power wand principals be damned.

Why do so many people say that? Some people use their names interchangeably for the word racist or cheat. There's the so called Nixon tapes, and the so called Trump tapes. Some people think Trump even has a pee pee tape.

could be a Nixon.
President Richard Nixon called Miami Dolphins head coach Don Shula before the Super Bowl and recommended he run a certain play. The week prior, he reportedly did the same thing with the Washington Redskins. Both teams ran the plays he suggested; both plays failed. Both teams lost. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--president-nixon-tried-to-help-dolphins-win-super-bowl-vi-225925413.html
