Chuck Schumer cites pro-immigration poem (added to the Statue of Liberty in the 20th century, years after the Statue was originally installed) as proof that immigration restrictions are unconstitutional.

Sorry Chuck, "The New Colossus" is not part of the Constitution or Declaration of Indepedence.

Hysteria:

hys·te·ri·a
həˈstirēə,həˈsterēə/
noun
exaggerated or uncontrollable emotion or excitement, especially among a group of people.

PSYCHIATRY

a psychological disorder (not now regarded as a single definite condition) whose symptoms include conversion of psychological stress into physical symptoms (somatization), selective amnesia, shallow volatile emotions, and overdramatic or attention-seeking behavior. The term has a controversial history as it was formerly regarded as a disease specific to women.

Chuck's tears are for the bankruptcy of America, which won't happen unless we have all those welfare recipients.

Where was all the whining when Obama did the EXACT same thing in 2011? He put a 6 month ban on Iraqi refugees. http://thefederalist.com/2015/11/18/the-obama-administration-stopped-processing-iraq-refugee-requests-for-6-months-in-2011/

We are letting insane numbers or refugees into this country. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/10/05/u-s-admits-record-number-of-muslim-refugees-in-2016/

91% of Iraqi Muslims think Sharia Law should be the law of the land. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/07/22/muslims-and-islam-key-findings-in-the-u-s-and-around-the-world/

These are people who overwhelmingly hate freedom and are going to live on the dole. The unemployment rate of refugees in Sweden is over 50%. It is awful policy taking people in who are not going to assimilate.

How can they expect anybody would fall for this?

One sentence can help the senator instantly regain his emotional control.

"Senator, do you support settling stateless Palestinian refugees from Gaza to the US?".

If its not right when liberals blamed Bush for Obama's failed policies - why does Trump get to blame Obama for his failed policies?

Obama had eight years of failure and Bush blaming. Trump has been President for nine days. Schumer is a hypocrite.

Hey Chuck Schmuck maybe there would not be so many people needing refuge if the USA would not bomb their home countries! Did he defend Tulsi Gabbard after she discovered the truth and was ridiculed, Schmuck had no comment. He is a programmed bot without principal.

Thur elections!

Did any of the folks who talked about the ills of democracy mention any dead cat bounces a long the way? Or is it just a straight downhill trajectory?

Just for the record, Emma Lazarus, who wrote the words which appears on the Statute of Liberty was a well-known socialist, and the “poem” which she wrote was suggested to be used to raise funds to build the statue’s pedestal.

Additionally, immigrants coming to America who passed the statute on their way to Elis Island were not granted entry into the United States for a number of reasons. One reason to be rejected was the likelihood of becoming a ward of the state and a public burden, and on this ground many were refused entry!

Is it not reasonable for American Citizens to reject being made into tax slaves to support the economic needs of millions upon millions of foreigners who have entered our country illegally and legally? Current statistics show that about 75 percent of immigrants from Mexico and Central America, legal and illegal, are on one or more taxpayer funded “program”.

And what about illegal aliens who work off the books in various trades on construction sites, and work below the going wage, and do not pay taxes on their earned wages, which is how they compete for America’s domestic jobs? Is this in the best interests of American Citizens who are unemployed?

I get the distinct impression that many of our politicians, like Senator Schumer, have more compassion for those who have entered our country illegally than they do for American Citizens who are suffering the devastating consequences of illegal and legal immigration. And they have more compassion for them for a nefarious reason ___ creating a massive voting block dependent upon government cheese.

And what was our Founder’s thinking with regard to immigration?

Let us recall what Representative BURKE says during our Nations` first debate on a RULE OF NATURALIZATION, FEB. 3RD, 1790 (http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/ampage?collId=llac&fileName=001/llac001.db&recNum=578)

Mr. BURKE thought it of importance to fill the country with useful men, such as farmers, mechanics, and manufacturers, and, therefore, would hold out every encouragement to them to emigrate to America. This class he would receive on liberal terms; and he was satisfied there would be room enough for them, and for their posterity, for five hundred years to come. There was another class of men, whom he did not think useful, and he did not care what impediments were thrown in their way; such as your European merchants, and factors of merchants, who come with a view of remaining so long as will enable them to acquire a fortune, and then they will leave the country, and carry off all their property with them. These people injure us more than they do us good, and, except in this last sentiment, I can compare them to nothing but leeches. They stick to us until they get their fill of our best blood, and then they fall off and leave us. I look upon the privilege of an American citizen to be an honorable one, and it ought not to be thrown away upon such people. There is another class also that I would interdict, that is, the convicts and criminals which they pour out of British jails. I wish sincerely some mode could be adopted to prevent the importation of such; but that, perhaps, is not in our power; the introduction of them ought to be considered as a high misdemeanor.

JWK

American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax slaves and forced to finance the personal economic needs of millions of foreigners who have invaded America’s borders.

Meh. Schumer's choice for speaking at the inauguration was to read a letter of a Union soldier who wrote to his wife saying that he was honoring the memory of those who fought in the War for American Independence by bringing rebels back into the arms of a central government. —Which was quite the opposite of breaking away from Great Britain, lol.

He supports muslim civilians living in open air prison in Gaza to be bombed mercilessly, Walled by Israel and routinely humiliated at Israeli checkpints but suddenly has tears dripping from his eyes when some peoples travel to US is inconvenienced by Trump?

Amazing dial control on compassion meter here. Any experts on body language/psychopathic behaviors here care to explain such seemingly incredible double standard?

If this is confirmed, Dems should ask Schumer to step down.

In related news, does Trump think Chuck and DGP have same coach?

'Who Is His Acting Coach?': Trump Calls Out Schumer's 'Fake Tears' Over Travel Ban

Trump called out (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/30/trump-takes-aim-at-sen-schumer-s-fake-tears-in-new-defense-immigration-restrictions.html) Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) specifically for crying "fake tears" in his comments yesterday.

"I noticed Chuck Schumer yesterday with fake tears," Trump said.

"I'm gonna ask him: who is his acting coach? Because I know him very well. I don't see him as a crier. If he is, he's a different man. There's about a five percent chance that it was real, but I think they were fake tears," said Trump in an appearance with small business leaders.

Schumer is sad that 20,000 bombs and missiles are being used to kill these people under Trump. Trump actually has a plan to help these people, instead of following the status que of killing them, and Schumer can't handle it.

Schumer is a condescending east coast liberal jewish person. Much of the Beltway Press are these types, which is why they are so out of touch with people.

Let's say the GOP trotted out a family victim of an illegal alien. Schumer is the sort of guy who would smirk as he thought of a way to get the upper hand in the conversation.

But because the Muslims are of a class not being an effing white male, Schumer pretends to cry.

Michael Savage, Les Gold. They are of the regular people.

Yes, he should. For this and a thousands other reasons.

Warmonger Schumer voted against the bill to block arms to Saudi, and instead supported the massive arms deal to Saudi Arabia supporting their genocide of Yemen.
