They are gathering signatures to put secession on the ballot. California residents only. However, if your NOT in Cali and want them to leave I know many of you here can do the voodoo that you do and spread the word throughout Cali to help.

Can we let them go and let the State of Jefferson take its place as the 50th state? Or they can have everything west of the Central Valley?

“California could very well become an organized non-payer,” said Willie Brown, Jr, a former speaker of the state Assembly in an interview recorded Friday for KPIX 5’s Sunday morning news. “They could recommend non-compliance with the federal tax code.”

Do it California, stop paying those Federal Income taxes!

I live in California and I don't approve of this unless we have a good president who isn't a socialist or liberal.

The chance of California splitting into three has moved a step closer after a billionaire secured enough signatures to trigger a referendum on the issue.

Tim Draper, who made his money through Hotmail and Skype, has gathered 600,000 signatures supporting the change – way above the 364,000 needed.

Those who want to break up California believe it would boost educational standards and reduce the political power of Sacramento, the state’s capital.

Providing the state authorities agree the signatures are genuine a referendum on the issue will be held this November alongside other mid-term elections.

So, if your OUTSIDE California and want to see them leave, contact your rep and make it happen. I believe they would still need 2/3 of states to agree to secede peacefully. So that means a lot of outside help.

The process for carving out a new state is outlined in Article IV, Section 3 of the Constitution:

"New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

"The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State."

Congress would not likely approve any new states being formed which may appear to give advantage (more seats) to the opposing party. A new "Red State" would need to be offset by a new "Blue State" with an equal number of seats in Congress.

The California secession movement has been given the go-ahead to gather signatures for its effort after the ballot proposal was approved Monday.
California Secretary of State Alex Padilla (D) announced the ballot proposal's approval, which would ask the state's voters in 2020 if they want to discuss declaring independence from the U.S. If the initiative passes, that vote would take place May 4, 2021.

Those in favor of secession have to meet an October deadline to collect 365,880 signatures from registered voters in order to put the measure on the ballot.

Every other state should put a resolution on their ballot in favor of CalExit. Let's show our support for the left coast.

As an aside - a California resident told me that within a week of CalExit, Red China would have battle groups stationed within firing distance of the coast prepping for takeover.

Now the plan is have a Gran California, that is to unite Baja and California together as they were between 1836 and 1846. Juntos de la libertad.

Of course this means removal of the border fence from the Pacific to the Arizona Stateline.

As long as we keep the red counties as New California and wall of Kalifornia I don't care.
