The part about the parties making complicated rules to protect their monopoly is true but the parties do have constitutional right to have their nominees selected by only party members. They make it sound like Democrats and Independents not being able to vote in the Republican primary is somehow unfair. Other than that it is a good video.

Question: Is it enough to be an American Citizen, or do you have to live in the states to vote in the primaries? (in other words absentee voting).

I ask, cause I have some friends here in Norway who have dual citizenship. I know they voted in the last general election. (for bush :( ) but I was wondering if it's any different for the primaries. (In which case I would make sure they did their part ;)
