From the looks of it. 100 minutes to go, and we're $2000 short of the worst day so far. I know everyone's saving up for the Tea Party, but this is just sad, and another week of this would be a decidedly Bad Thing™.

This is a sign of the strength of the coming Tea Party.

If the calm is starting now, we're in for the worst 7-day period of the quarter as well, on the order of between $114k-$165k. Right now, that goes to 11/13-11/19, with $245,287.

It's like Braveheart. It really looked like the English cavalry was coming in to kick some serious ass, and they would have if the other troops hadn't kept holding until the planned time.

That's all well and good, but I should think the campaign might like to have some cash flow for the next week. Can't buy ads with pledges. And I think that if we don't step up to the plate at least somewhat better, they're going to send out fundraising emails which will cause some people to donate their 12/16 savings a few days early. Ought to donate a little more now, so they don't ask for a lot more now, and we can give them a TON more on the 16th.

I disagree. They are flush with cash and are in no imminent danger of insolvency. They can reserve as many ads as they want because you generally only need to put up a deposit, not a full cash amount.

We have a week to go; just stand fast and don't worry so much. In a week, by the grace of God, we will shock the world.

STAND FAST!

HOLD YOUR FIRE!

Wait. Waaaiiiitt!.

Wait until the 16th!
They have MORE than enough cash for a week.
And if not, oh well - the Tea Party, if big enough,
will get them 10x MORE over the long run when we get on
CNN with $7 million dollars!!!

It (12/9) was the worst day of the quarter, about $800 less than 11/17.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day, since it's a Monday following a debate to a new audience -- should attract a lot of new donors.

This is good in a way, it means people know about the Tea Party. Or would it be better if there were so many people donating that not all of them would know about the 16th? I'm not sure, but in any case I think we can look forward to a huge Tea Party.

LOL, in a week we generate $500,000 on a decent week. The campaign has five times that in the bank, if not 10x or more.

It's all about impact. Mr. Bydlack has been pretty quiet lately, I hope if he sends any panicky emails during this week that people ignore him. And if he waits until Thursday or Friday to do it, he is either intentionally trying to defuse the bomb or he is an imbecile.

Just one more week Bydlack. Keep your panicky emails to yourself for one more week and I will take back every bad thing I have ever said about you.

He would be crazy to send another email like that before the 16th.

So we said before the last one. And he did anyway. He must be kept reassured.

LOL, in a week we generate $500,000 on a decent week. We've gotten above 500k 5/10 weeks, and 2 of those were money bomb weeks. The others have ranged rather lower, at 273k-437k, with the average of those being 361k. And every time we've been trending towards anything below 250k, the campaign sends an email. We are well on our way to a <<250k week, which means an email, probably Monday or Tuesday.

I really hope no one in the campaign is stupid enough to send an email.

The Tea Party will be our turning point. It's looking like $7 million is inevitable, and I'm hoping for much much more...we can't afford a fumble this close to game time.

Campaign e-mails are a good thing, as long as they don't have language saying "don't donate later we need the money NOW!" Campaign e-mails capture donations from the people who are not tuned in, and who don't know a moneybomb is coming up (yes, such people certainly exist).

They seem to have added in over $400,000 this evening. So it is over $11.3 million now.

with the blimp about to launch and the 16th coming up... we should be able to bring in a good amount of money to make a big impact on many of the "old media news networks"... more coverage = more possible supporters... which in turn will = $$$.

$5million at least on the 16th... that'll put us well past our goal.

We need the 16th to be strong but we also need to start thinking about after the Tea Party. We need to find a way to boost our weekly numbers. Visit Ron Paul's Regional Money Bomb (http://www.geocities.com/francisklinkner/ronpaul.html) for more information.
