Alex Jones Caller says he was barred from entering a gun show for supporting Ron Paul

A caller on Alex Jones sunday show http://www.590klbj.com/Bios/Alex_Jones.aspx said that he was told by security to get off the property for a Tallahassee gun show because he was wearing a Ron Paul T-shirt.

The gentleman said he had a booth at the quarterly gun show in September in which he supported Ron Paul. When he tried to get a booth for this weekend's gunshow, he was denied.

Then he tried to go to the gunshow yesterday wearing a Ron Paul T-shirt and was told by a security guard and a cop that he better get lost. The caller also said that other Ron Paul supporters were turned away from the event.

Anybody in Tallahassee have more info on this event?

For wearing a f*cking T-shirt! What the hell is going on? On what grounds did they force him to leave? He needs to go back to the next gun show with a shirt and a video camera and make those bastards arrest him if they're going to get him to leave.

The actual context of the event may be a whole lot different than it at first seems.

I hardly think they will kick someone out of a gun show for wearing a t-shirt.

I've heard it a couple times now from different people that they've been kicking out Ron Paul supporters. I think someone at this forum got kicked out as well

And what context would that be Scott Wilson?

The gentleman wasn't kicked out. He said he wasn't allowed in.

Alex told the gentleman to get in contact with the Tallahassee Ron Paul Meetup group to organize some kind of protest, and that he (Alex) would look into this story and contact the gunshow operator. If verified, Alex will write up an article about it tomorrow. Anybody with firsthand knowledge of this should contact Alex Jones at aaron@infowars.com or trey@infowars.com

As a gun owner and competitive sport shooter who knows a lot of gun owners, I find this repugnant.

Those who support the 2A should support he entire Bill of Rights, and that includes the 1A. If you believe in and respect the right to bear arms, you should do the same for the right to free speech. To undermine free speech at this gun show is no different than undermining the right to keep and bear arms. Hypocracy wrapped in fear - fear that the neocon message of war and fear is going down in flames.

This really disgusts me.

The forces are mounting against Ron Paul.

It's probably because lots of Ron Paul supporters have gone in before and given out material and the owners don't like that.

Does the NRA somehow, in an indirect way, profit from the war by any chance? Guns, war, hmmmmm. I haven't a clue but wondering if someone else knows of a connection.

There's a strong Fred Thompson connection, isn't there?

Blame Fred for this one. He signed an exclusive deal for Florida gun shows.

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/florida/story/237311.html

Fred Thompson's presidential campaign has hit a conservative bull's eye: The exclusive rights to advertise at some of Florida's largest gun shows.

When they say "exclusive", I guess they take it literally.
