U.S. nation-building in South Sudan: A foreign policy of ignorant arrogance (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/nov/27/united-states-nation-building-south-sudan-foreign-/)

South Sudan was midwifed, "created", by the United States from Sudan five years ago.The United States orchestrated the secession of South Sudan from Sudan in 2011 by a combination of military pressure and economic sanctions (and yes sanctions are an act of war). South Sudan predictably plunged into an abyss of unspeakable misery and bloodshed through a toxic cocktail of inter-ethnic, inter-tribal, and internecine warfare. Tens of thousands have been killed, 1.5 million have been displaced, and 5 million are in dire need of humanitarian assistance. We roll dice with the lives and welfare of others when we precipitate regime change in foreign lands.

Hard to believe that came from the Washington Times. Thnks Charrob.
I take issue w/ the title..
NOTHING 'Ignorant' about it.
They detonate civil societies, then opportunistically 'repair' the damage
with financial and political embeds.

NOT IGNORANT
Sudan's an absolute cookie cutter example of what was planned by the hegemons
using AFRICOM on the entire 'dark continent' , and the 'Asian Pivot' in the Pacific.
basically Libya 2.0 across the globe
covert fund the 'bad guys' / Boko Haram etc. to de-stablize,
bomb the infrastructure into rubble,
'rescue' with armed 'hard' UN aid,
install puppet govs
secure natural resources
secure global dominance.

Exactly. How can any American be okay that their tax dollars are used to perpetrate these horrendous crimes?
