"Trump’s first two choices to head law enforcement and intelligence agencies -- Republican Senator Jeff Sessions for attorney general and Republican Representative Mike Pompeo for director of the Central Intelligence Agency -- are leading advocates for domestic government spying at levels not seen since the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks"

This should not be a problem if you have nothing to hide.

Only people who don't want America to be great have a problem with this.

This. The purists can whine all they want, but if the government knows what everyone is doing, then it is easier for them to root out the illegals, at which point we will have our liberty.

They aren't going to give you back your liberty after they take it away in the name of "solving the immigrant problem". If you want to get rid of immigrants, you must be willing to sacrifice liberty in exchange.

We will need even more monitoring of private activities, checking IDs everywhere, more police and security forces to do it, checkpoints at random locations, raiding employers to check. And you get the privilege of paying more taxes for surrendering those freedoms. Great deal, eh?

Some, including Ron Paul, tried to warn people that Trump is not pro- Liberty.

If Trump says it is, then I believe him. He makes the best deals.

Trump hates the principle of liberty. My thanks to everyone who helped elect someone with the mindset of a tyrant.

Will this include some extra cameras to find anyone burning a flag to immediately toss them in prison for a year?

It's handy finding out future policy issues from late night tweets.

This could be dangerous, would he/his adminstration have full access to all deleted/non-deleted emails of Hillary, Obama, Clinton Foundation, Benghazi, BLM, NYT, WaPo, DNC insiders etc?
