"Darkness is good," says Bannon, who amid the suits surrounding him at Trump Tower, looks like a graduate student in his T-shirt, open button-down and tatty blue blazer — albeit a 62-year-old graduate student.

"Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That's power. It only helps us when they" — I believe by "they" he means liberals and the media, already promoting calls for his ouster — "get it wrong. When they're blind to who we are and what we're doing."

Great segment by Alex Jones on Cheney.

Bannon had to read Alinsky.

…the ninth rule: The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.

The norm for political discourse in the wake of Gamergate. WYSIWYG.

Please explain, haha.

Just that Gamergate had a big role in making political correctness/SJW politics widespread on the internet. The alt-right gamers took on Breitbart as their de facto media outlet. It's just my hunch that gamers had more impact on the eventual pervasiveness of the alt-right than any other single factor. Bannon talks like somebody chatting in an MMO.

Way to take a comment out of context, (which is what you always get when you STILL believe the MSM:

"Darkness is good," Bannon told Wolff. "Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That’s power."

But that's a classic example of taking a statement out of context — and the online outrage is only proving the point Bannon went on to argue.

"It only helps us when they get it wrong," Bannon continued, the "they" referring to liberals and the media in general. "When they’re blind to who we are and what we’re doing."

So he says darkness is good, because it makes the enemy trip up and create strategies out of blindness.

Research before you quote, MSM-heads.

So stop slobbering all over yourselves, "OMG Bannon loves Cheney and Vader!!1!"
