I've been hearing a lot in the media that 60 votes are needed to pass anything in the senate. Is this true? I really want obamacare repealed and I dont want Trump to be like Obama where nothing is done.

They've been using the excuse to make the bills filibuster proof in order to avoid doing anything.

Depends which team is in charge. But lately it seems one team is trying to outdo the other in fraudulent ways to pass shit.

Yes but no. Normally, I fully support the 60 rule. However, if Obamacare isn't reformed, our nation will likely be destroyed. A simple majority on that 1 issue might work well.
