I've noticed this on Reddit and mentioned it twice before on here, and it's not going to happen. Ron will never go for it. And if he did in an alternate universe, he would begin moves to abolish it immediately.

Just because the reddit Trumpers like Ron doesn't mean trump will actually pick him. Ludacris

Isn't that like asking Oskar Schindler to run the extermination program?

Ron Paul deserves to have some position in a Trump administration.
Absolutly correct. Regardless of all the "never gonna happen" proclamations, we should be flooding Trump's people with Ron Paul's name. We did this well enough on the internet in 2007 and 2011 and although Ron never became president our voices had an effect - ie Putting people like Rand, Massie, Amash in office - rise of the Tea Party - moving to end the drug war, making it acceptable to aknowledge the existence of the Federal Reserve, even stating out loud that the Fed needs to be audited!

Ron Paul is responsible for bringing these things to the forefront so they can at least be discussed. Being both bold and serene, he speaks and informs others about a sensible monetary policy and peace like nobody else.

It matters less, what role a Trump administration might consider for a Ron Paul; Treasurer, head of the Fed, some banking agency - or - some pro-peace role in foreign relations - or - head of the department to abolish useless departments and end government waste. There are so many issues he can think out side the box on.

I think we should do what we can, to get his name into the mix before the establishment has fully taken over and all the old, familiar crap policies are set in stone.

Then again, if Trump actually ever considered Ron Paul, would he blab it out right now? or keep his cards close to his vest?

These are rumors. Nothing is written in stone yet.

I'm in agreement with Valli. Maybe Trump will never choose a Paul for anything, maybe he would. Wouldn't it be better to force Trump's hand and have Trump explain to the people, the principles he believes in and those that he doesn't. Lets allow Trump to define himself by the appointments he makes. Lets not allow a future cop out along the lines...."Oh yeah Ron Paul would have been in the administration, somehow his name just never came up".
According to Fox News, the Jamie Dimon rumors are far from true. According to Alex Jones, Trump wanted Rand as VP until there was friction between them in the primary. I don't really give credence to either of these sources I'm just referencing them because I know some users on here do.
Libertarians are known to stand by our principles, and I'm not accusing anybody of turning their backs, but lets not put our beliefs away in the closet just because its a rainy day. Lets push our beliefs until we can create our own sunny days.
:) Cheers
