Wyoming is a beautiful state. Have many fond memories of basing out of Cody about 30 years ago and camping in illegal "Teton" lands for a couple of months. The Elk were awe inspiring!

Can Paul win Wyoming? Or at least place in the top 3? I know nothing of WY, how strong is the support there?

Wyoming has more per capita donors than NH. Now stop worrying about how we might do, and start worrying about how YOU can help get people to the caucuses.

And Dick Cheney's voting record wasn't all that different from Ron Paul's.

Regardless, I doubt Cheney was running against a candidate like Ron Paul. Now we have 5 neocons competing for the same votes, and 1 Ron Paul stand out against the rest. Just look at the Wyoming per capita donor numbers and you can see it's Ron Paul country.

Does anyone have a side by side comparison of RP's and DC's votes during the two terms they were in Congress together? I'd be interested to see it.

No, he's right. Wyoming is a very "leave me the f*** alone" state, and sparsely populated enough that it becomes a burden for other candidates to travel the state. That's where our base can pick up some major points--exploit what other candidates won't touch or even think of.

Well Wyoming's state government also relies heavily on Government subsidiaries from Oil. So I bet the state govt is rallying people out to not endorse Ron Paul, but the general population of Wyoming love freedom. It really is a beautiful country.

Remember all, the average Republican in Wyoming is not voting in these county conventions, only about 1,200 precinct committeepersons are. They're going to watch what goes on an Iowa and then make their judgements as to what to do. Bottom line: If we do well in Iowa, we'll do well in Wyoming.

fortilite
12-30-2007, 11:47 AM
These are to the precinct committee members - these are the 800 people who will be voting in Wyoming on the 5th. Quality over quantity. This needs to happen.

http://www.louislogan.com/letters/index.asp

It is VERY important that you hand write the Wyoming letters. Don't bite off more than you can chew. Take 5, or better yet take 8 (1% of the vote). The deadline to send them is Monday.

Only 50 are left, but they must be in the mail by Monday. Drop them off in a blue box or at the post office, not just your home mail box.

50 letters = 6% of the entire Wyoming vote! If you do 8, that is 1%! Think about it, you can hand write a letter to 1% of an entire states vote!
