Can you work to get awareness to other grassroots projects? Right now, my daily freak out is dedicated to the DVD Bomb which is doing kind of bad. Could you throw a link on the websites to it or something? OR to the stickied thread in my signature . . . ?

Pleeeeeeeeease? You've got an AMAZING following while other grassroots projects aren't getting much attention. Just a link, the projects need help . . . Really. :/

I'm sure trevor would love to help out other grassroots activities, but everytime he tries, especially by notifying people via a grassroots email list... people hate on him, even to the point of crucifixion.

I agree... We could have trevor as a symoblic rally point for every legit project, and notify everyone of those needs via our now existing mailing list...
but some people on here throw a shit-fit everytime they get an email that does anything but simply remind them tea party dec. 16th, as if they can't remember.

I think we are shooting ourselves in the foot by not using all the resources available to us to promote all our many projects.

So many chip ins so little time. Seems all we are doing lately is asking for Ron Paul supporters to dish out cash when there are 1000s of things we should be pushing hard on that we can do for free.

You assumption is that we are not doing enough of the free stuff, and in my case, that assumption is wrong...
Yeh, too many projects, not enough funding... but if everyone knows about the projects, they can better spend there money if they know all their choices, giving good projects to be known so people don't spend money on a so-so project only to find out later, they wished they had spent it on another project, but didn't know about it until it was too late.

I've worked really hard at getting each scheduled grassroots plan down at THIS THREAD (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=49595).

There's 34 fundraisers between now and February 5.
25 of those are from now until January 5.
Two of those are simple writing deadlines (http://www.rp-supporters.com/letters).
There's a prayer day (One (http://www.december31st.org/) and Two (http://www.paulprayer.com/)), protests, rallies, and a card writing deadline (http://www.ronpaulsrebels.com/).
And, I'm sure, I'm missing many.

I wasn't asking for Trevor to email everyone. Just to either link to the thread above or to the DVD Bomb website (http://www.ronpauldvdbomb.com/) on the front page of teaparty07.com (http://www.teaparty07.com/) or ronpaulblimp.com (http://www.ronpaulblimp.com/). Put the link above the videos, below or between the videos, I don't really care. But there's people struggling to do something for Ron Paul and there's people willing to help that are going to those websites and leaving, feeling partially satisfied by simply signing up when they could, and more than likely want to, do so much more.

I'm admittedly a pessimist, but it seems pointless to turn your back to them all. There's a lot of people with a lot of passion that, because they don't know how or where, can't direct that passion toward other productive grassroots tasks.

The grassroots needs to stay connected, needs to be aware of all the projects around it and with it. And, that was easy when it was smaller, but now it NEEDS to be done before limbs of a movement drop off because they couldn't raise four hundred bucks. It seems careless to let people work so hard without being able to help Ron Paul. I'm tellin' ya', there needs to be a website for all of it. There's so MUCH.

The Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Alliance (http://www.meetupalliance.com/RonPaul2008) is a start, but seriously . . . Two links could connect an entire movement.

Links I'd have no problem with. There probably should be links and updates on the teaparty webpage.

But emails... not so much. Unless there is a TOS agreement that specifically states that those signing up are agreeing to recieve email about non-teaparty projects, it doesn't fly with me. Especially when those other projects might take money away from the teaparty. There are plenty of places to get the word out about grassroots projects, but the teaparty mailing list isn't one of them.

Of course, keep the movement from gaining funding in different areas so people will feel good about their original TOS agreement.

I could see people getting pissed for Trevor using the email list for personal gain, but why get pissed if the love is spread to everyone equally? Regardless of TOS? what is more important?
I'd say the people in NH would agree with me on this one... they need money more than you need to sleep better at night.

I don't want the email thing to even be an issue right now. Save that for a later date.

I'm saying that something needs to connect all grassroots projects and there's teaparty07.com and ronpaulblimp.com that can link them together. Simple as that . . . I just don't know how to get their attention. I know they're busy people, but a link to THIS (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=49595) thread or the Ron Paul DVD Bomb (http://www.ronpauldvdbomp.com/) would just take ten/fifteen minutes.
