This will give us a great idea of where we stand. I suspect many of us have never voted in a primary, and that is evidence that the MSM polls are not counting us. They regularly screen and exclude people if they haven't voted recently in a primary. We can't assume this percentage of 'never voted' will be the same for all Ron Paul supporters, but the numbers will no doubt be very high overall.

Strange, but it never had crossed my mind to do so before this year.

so far 0 out of 19 have ever voted in a primary/caucus. hmmm....could you say the polls might underestimate our support just a bit?

They're not gonna know what hit them. We are the perfect storm that nobody sees approaching :).

I can't wait until January 3rd. Hopefully I can make it to Iowa for the 2nd student week, and be there to celebrate our win.

I attended my first caucus in 1980. I was 14-years-old, but since it was at my house, I got to go. Seven people attended. Ronald Reagan won at our house, but Bush took Iowa. I didn't get to vote that year, but since then, I've attended caucus.

Wow. I'm amazed. I've voted in every single election, even in city government primaries (where I've even run as a candidate twice). 85%?!?!?!? How could ANYONE have not voted in a primary before? Geez! ;) :)

most people don't care for politics, to them politicians are lying sacks of crap that will say anything to get elected.

Thats one of the main reasons I support Ron Paul, is because he doesn't pander to get your vote.

Went to every presidential precinct caucus since 1996. Was a delegate or alternate delegate to 4 conventions (2 county and 2 state). Will be going to my precinct caucus again this year.

Why? It's been explained many times how it work and still we many times a day get this bs up.

Let's take the last poll from Newsweek for Iowa. Only half the likely voters only half had voted in a primary before. So it's simply not true that polling companies don't count in new voters.

I've voted in primaries many times, but only about 4 years ago did I start going to the caucuses that are held on the night of the primary in Texas. I'd say that many people have only voted in the general elections because the general elections get the most attention. they are content to let someone else pick the nominees. see what a mistake that has been in the past?

Nope, never cared enough before now to go. Sad but true.

Now, not only do I plan to go but also seeing who else I can drag to the primaries with me.:D
