The deep south has too many evangelicals who think they have a right to tell you how to live your life.

I am ashamed of my state's (NY) level of support.

Patrick Byrne (CEO of Overstock.com) made a great point on CNBC yesterday. He said something to the effect his demographics for shoppers are the very poor (don't have the money so shop at Overstock), and the very rich (extreme penny-pinchers). Getting my friends in the city to donate money to the campaign is like trying to pull teeth. The fact of the matter is my state should have ponied up much more than we have so far.

I'm still working on it....*sigh*

Well, we have a harder time in NYC because we can't run around putting signs everywhere. I put up 40-50 flyers around Columbia and they were all gone the very next day. It was pointless and a waste of print-quota from all the students who helped me out.

West side of the country is his base. Deep south is the worst, although Texas and Florida are good (luckily the two most populous states in the south!).
