DEIR EZZOR, SYRIA (5:30 A.M.) -
The U.S. Air Force reportedly destroyed another bridge in the Deir Ezzor countryside on Friday,
marking their third attack on the province this month.

According to a military source at the Deir Ezzor Airport,
the U.S. Coalition destroyed the Al-'Asharat Bridge inside the Al-Mayadeen District on Friday;
this is the second bridge destroyed in this district over the last 10 days.

Three missiles were reportedly used by the U.S. Coalition to destroy this bridge on Friday morning.

The military source added that the destruction of this bridge
►is not going to disrupt the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham's supply line
because they already use boats to resupply their forces.

Thanks for the updates.. It's sad that in the 21st century we still haven't figured out that the best way for everyone to get ahead is to build things, not to destroy them.

They don't care that it doesn't work. It's all going according to plan.

Yeah... the 'plan'...
the destruction of bridges over the Euphrates
not about FIGHTING ISIS... it's about HELPING them.
It is meant to cobble the battle hardened mechanized armored Shia forces
from convoying from Syria to participate
in battling ISIS and liberating Mosul.
The coalition needs an 'escape route' for ISIS
and the IRGC, QUDS, Hezzies, Popular Mobe and Kurds
were going to shut it and complete the 'seige' of Mosul
like Aleppo...
Western Iraq and Easter Syria is to be an ISIS refuge
to keep the plague going w/ hegemon controls.

This is 'related'.. I can only guess what levers are being pulled, by whom and why.
but
you KNOW some SERIOUS bargaining, threats & bribes are happening btw nations and forces gathered for Mosul.
CENTCOM has been in Erbil for over a week getting ready. Kurd PM Barzani (Peshmerga mercs) went to Baghdad 2 days ago.

While sanctity of innocent life is important, aren't you guys taking it bit too seriusly? These peoples and childrens is not even Americans.

Relax and chill a bit. If it helps to put your minds at ease, people who were bombed probably opposed gay weddings.

So... all the flag waving sheep
just CAN'T understand
why USA! USA! doesn't just start carpet bombing
Syrian National forces under Assad... (yunno the Syrian patriots fighting the headchoppers)

Why can't we just bomb the shiit out of them???

Well... leaving aside the deeper, more malevolent aspects of it all..
this article let's us 'peek' at what's going on the hawkish 'heads'
at the 'dumber' levels. (It's still mind blowing)

Kerry in leaked audio: "I lost the argument" on Syria
Congress refused to even vote on issue, he says (http://www.wesh.com/politics/kerry-in-leaked-audio-i-lost-the-argument-with-syria/41911004?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=wesh)

WASHINGTON (CNN) —Secretary of State John Kerry's frustration with the failure of American diplomacy
was on display as he defended US efforts to help end the five-year civil war in Syria
during a meeting last week with a group of Syrian civilians, (who shall remain 'nameless' of course)
according to an audio recording obtained by CNN. (sure.)

But Kerry also expressed sympathy for the Syrians' demands (complete HORSESHIIT... right THERE. It's the 'demands' of the paid HEADCHOPPERS who are getting their ASSSSES kicked!)
that the United States intervene more forcefully
amid Syrian and Russian airstrikes against civilians, HEADCHOPPERS
telling the group that he "lost the argument" for using military force
against the regime ELECTED SOVEREIGN GOVERNMENT of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad .

"I think you're looking at three people, four people in the administration."

"I lost the argument."

"I've argued for the use of force." (God knows you've tried John.)

"I'm the guy who stood up and announced that we're going to attack Assad for the use of weapons," (yunno the chemical false flag in 2013??)

Kerry also faulted Congress for failing to support such a retaliatory strike, saying,
"The bottom line is that Congress refused even to vote to allow that." (yeah.. that stupid ol congress)

"We have a Congress that will not authorize our use of force,"
he added, explaining that a new military intervention would be difficult to bring about. (cuz Libya went so well John.)

The Syrian civilians HEADCHOPPERS repeatedly questioned Kerry about violations of the ceasefire FAILURE AT ATTEMPTS TO 'FREEZE' GOV'T SUCCESS
and America's unwillingness to enforce the agreement FREEZE more strongly,
and lobbied for a bigger US role.

Kerry cited legal restrictions and local air defenses (ha. this is rich)
as reasons why a US military intervention was not feasible.

"The problem is the Russians don't care about international law and we do.
And we don't have a basis, our lawyers tell us, unless we have a Security Council resolution," he said. (;) )

"They were invited in, we were not," he added, referring to Moscow's military operations in Syria.

"We don't behave like Russians. It's just a different standard," Kerry said.

"The only reason they are letting us fly is because we are going after ISIL," Kerry said,
using another term for ISIS.

"If we were going after Assad, we would have to take out all the air defenses and we don't have a legal justification for doing that."

Kerry added, "So far, American legal theory does not buy into the so-called right to protect." (aka 'right to invade')

"Nobody (is) more frustrated than me," Kerry told the gathering. (Believe me when I tell you John. You're wrong)

Acknowledging that Russia's military actions have "changed the equation"
and made removing Assad more difficult,
Kerry suggested that Syrian refugees could one day help eject Assad if given the right to vote.

Asked about the recording, State Department spokesman John Kirby told CNN,

"While we will decline to comment on a private conversation,
Secretary Kerry was grateful for the chance to meet with this group of Syrians,
to hear their concerns firsthand and to express our continued focus on ending this civil war."

Kerry found himself on the defensive as the attendees implored the United States
to help stop the violence against Syrian civilians to invade and overthrow another Sovereign nation through direct action.

"You can be mad at us, but what we are trying to do is help Syrians to fight for their own country, and we have been spending a lot of money, a lot of effort," he said.

"I am frustrated, too," Kerry said.

He later added, "A lot of Americans don't believe that we should be fighting and sending young Americans over to die in another country."

Ain't it grand??? :D

Russian planes have been bombing bridges there too:

ISIS Trapped in Deir Ezzor City: Russian Air Force Destroys Al-Siyasiyah Bridge

The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) received a rude awakening inside the provincial capital of the Deir Ezzor Governorate on Friday morning, as the Russian Air Force's fighter jets destroyed the imperative "Al-Siyasiyah Bridge" (Political Bridge) that sits over the Euphrates River, which links the city's east and west districts.

For ISIS, this marks the second time in 14 months that their main supply route to the provincial capital has been obstructed; this bridge was originally destroyed last year, when the Syrian Arab Army's 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard loaded the suspension bridge with IED materials and detonated the explosives.

The Russian Federation's Defense Minister posted the video of their fighter jets bombarding ISIS' positions inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate, displaying the destruction of the Al-Siyasiyah Bridge.

As a result of the Al-Siyasiyah Bridge's destruction, the terrorist group is now trapped inside the provincial capital without access to necessary reinforcements and supplies from the east district; this creates a relatively difficult situation for the ISIS fighters besieging the Deir Ezzor Military Airport, as they are now at the mercy of the Russian Air Force's airstrikes.

Recently, ISIS launched several attacks on the Deir Ezzor Military Airport, forcing the Russian Air Force to concentrate many of their fighter jets to this area in order to forestall the terrorist group's progress at this front.

Darned US destroying bridges in the area. Cutting off ISIS supply lines is supporting them?

In 2015 (your article) the tactics were to TRAP and cut off supplies
from EASTERN side to the ISIS rebels inside the CITY on WESTERN side of Euphrates.
now..
ISIS is using BOATS to re-supply and BRIDGES aren't necessary
ISIS has been pushed out to the Industrial district away from the bridge.

Why would you ASSUME the US is NOW trying to 'help' Syria and the Deir Ezzor inhabitants being PROTECTED by Assad Government Forces?
Why would they help Assad's forces at ALL? They haven't before.
As a matter of fact, Kerry's ADMISSION is now on TAPE that he wanted to ATTACK Syrian Government forces.
Do you understand how WRONG that is?
Did the US help the Palmyra inhabitants during their slaughter and occupation? Or during their Liberation?
Are they helping in Hama?
Are they helping in Homs?
Are they helping in Quinetta?
What are you saying Zippy?

Are you paying attention Zippy to the God's eye view of the war theater or are you myopically trying to find 'exceptions'?
Do you think this is a 'civil war'?
What is the difference between wisdom and knowledge?

Look.
Any 'exceptions' you can find were DUPLICITOUS at best. US 'airstrikes' made NO DIFFERENCE for 3 years.
ISIS grew. Mercenaries grew by HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS.
We bombed infrastructure and sand
to DETERIORATE and CRIPPLE Syrian civilian 'life' to put pressure on Assad.

Do you REALIZE how evil that is?
Do you REALIZE how illegal that is?

I'm sure you do Zippy. I know you do.
So.
I'll be glad to answer any honest question you may have.
K? K.

Here... I'll give you something to cheer for.
One and a half million Syrians are waiting for these headchopping mercenaries
to be pushed out of their hiding places and be imprisoned or killed. (they're ALSO offered COMPLETE amnesty)
After 5 years of being held HOSTAGE they WANT their CITY back and their Country.
No UN. No Turks. No 'Freeze'. No ISIS. No CIA. No Pentagon.
Russians can STAY.
They were INVITED. :)

When jihadists tried to capture Aleppo last month, the world was quiet. Syrian Army turns the table and it is suddenly a sectarian slaughter

What's funny is that at least the Syrian Army offers amnesty to the opposition fighters. Opposition doesn't offer terms, only beheadings
