To tie their name with Ron Paul is sort of suicide from their point of view. No more invitations to shows, no more good press, no more political influence, no more parts in movies or tv shows, no more an insider etc. if Ron Paul doesnt win.

At this point they either must have big cohones or nothing to lose anyway. Both are rare.
